I just moved back to Tampa not long ago and a friend told me to check this place out. The food was fantastic! The menu is short and sweet, you don’t need a million options if you can do one thing very well. I have never had chicken strips from a restaurant that were so hot and crispy yet still so juicy. Great food!

First time here. I was hesitant because we had gone to Canes and didn’t care for them. This definitely isn’t Canes. Guthrie’s had hot- fresh tender chicken. The fries are awesome. Hot, fresh and nicely salted. It also comes with slaw ,but not being a fan of coleslaw, we were able to switch it out for either more sauce. toast or fries. Sweet tea was really good too. Sauce was a nice compliment on the chicken. I would recommend Guthrie’s if you tried Canes and didn’t like it.

Rhonda provided a great introduction to this chicken tender restaurant. She and her team provided friendly, prompt service. The chicken tenders are really flavorful and spiced well. They aren’t greasy. The Gutherie sauce tastes like more than a mayo-ketchup combo. Rhonda’s recommendation to mix BBQ with the Gutherie sauce was on point. Yum!

First time dinning at Guthrie’s today and the atmosphere and food are great. This location has a much larger dinning area than first appearances would suggest and it is clean and comfortable. The service was fast and friendly and we felt very welcome. The menu is refreshingly simple and the chicken is as good or better than some of the best out there. Will be back in the future.

I love Guthries! It’s unlike any other place around here in South Tampa. Their chicken is perfectly seasoned, tender and their service is so fast. I never wait more than 10 minutes even during their peak times. The staff is nice and helpful. One staff member suggested I try their chicken sandwich on texas toast. WOW! Amazing! Highly recommend.

The chicken tenders are served by the ounce which is much better than individual tenders, since sizes can vary. They are so absolutely tender and delicious. Even hours afterwards. The toast is excellent and the fries where comforting, the sauce a great addition to every flavor. The Coleslaw was good as well and actually really good on the toast.
