The fried chicken here is delicious. The skin is super crispy and has a nice spice to it. We also got the fried pickles as an appetizer. We don’t usually like fried pickles as spears but these were really good. The breading made it taste almost like pizza. The only disappointment we had was in the sides. We had the mac and cheese, slaw and potato salad. They were fine. Not at the level of the fried chicken. We would come back again. Lots of parking lots nearby.

I’ve been looking for a good crunchy fried chicken close to home & I’ve finally found it! The outside chicken is Perfectly Crunchy & juicy on the inside. The fried pickles are the best I’ve ever had. Food comes out hot & fresh. Enjoyed the sides but the chicken is the star of the show here!

The Chicken is by far the freshest I’ve ever had. And because of it’s freshness, the chicken is extremely juicy. After taking a bite out of the Chicken, you can see steam radiating off your chicken’s flesh (further adding to the flavor). Breading is crispy–not soggy. Atmosphere representing Memphis Tennessee adds to the mood. Hot sauce and ketchup are provided, the only thing that can make the chicken better is a side of honey.

The best fried chicken! I was so excited to see this place nearby after trying it in Memphis. My boyfriend and I shared the 1/2 chicken plate. Don’t miss the sweet tea (I like 1/2 sweet 1/2 unsweet) and the coconut pie for dessert!

This is – by far our favorite chicken place in SoCal. It’s got a kick. It has the best sides. Fried pickles?!? Yea please! Cool shop. Great vibes. Easy parking. We would eat here more if we did not live so far away. We are always wishing for more of Gus’s Chicken!!

Great fried chicken. I got take out that day and it’s still crispy when I got home. I did have to rip a corner off the box for vent myself but non the less I am impressed. The spicy level is on the milder side for me. But it’s very juicy on the inside. Not too salty like many other places too. The only negative from me would be the price. $21 for a half chicken with baked beans and cold slaw.
