Friendly and attentive service. Nice atmosphere. My kalbshaxe was excellent, the Spätzle and Red cabbage served with it was disappointing. Apple strudel for dessert was delicious and the coffee was good.

Went with my family and they loved it!. Service was outstanding. Location was not that great and does not look appealing from outside. Once inside, things change. Good food. Definitely recommend!

The Spatan Octoberfest on tap was ice cold. The blue cheese on the salad was very creamy. The rye bread was very fresh. Mashed potatoes were fluffy. Red cabbage was tender. Schnitzel was crispy. $21.95 for the pork schnitzel dinner. $25.95 for the veal schnitzel dinner. Our waitress, Debbie, was very nice and did not rush us. Will be back.

Absolutely amazing experience and incredible authentic German food. I’d have to say my favorite was the German potato salad and their bratwurst!! The rye bread is also their original recipe dating back to the 30s and it’s SO ridiculously good.

Went there for birthday lunch with my daughter. Food was excellent we especially liked the smoked salmon appetizer. Schnitzel, red cabbage and potato pancakes good too. The very nice waitress heard us talking about my birthday. She brought a dish of ice cream with a candle at the end of our meal. Very enjoyable.

I have been going to this restaurant for years. It was one of my favorites. Last evening was St. Patrick’s Day and they had a limited, specific menu that you had to order from. That was disappointing as the only non-meat choice during lent was fried fish and an appetizer that was crabcakes. They have many other choices on their usual menu, which was not in use. I ordered the crab cakes, which were $14.00 for five cakes the size of quarters. They consisted of mainly breadcrumbs. I couldn’t taste any crab really. I have never seen a crab cake that small. I then asked for a side of vegetables. I was charged $8.00 for a lump of cabbage and a few slices of carrots. At the end, you are then charged 4% on top of everything else as this establishment feels that the customer should absorb their credit card fees. I have a small retail business and we absorb the credit card fee. This was very disappointing and I left there annoyed. I will not return.
