Craft beers and seafood is so delicious together here in this cozy casual bar vibe joint. Specialty items noted on two blackboards with neon chalk showcase just a sampling of the unique specialties they offer. I was lucky to have the chance to try this place out with a foodie friend that’s been here before so ordering was easy. We tried the appetizer tasting where it’s a selection of appetizers marked with the asterisk on the menu. The best was the Tako wasabi, which is octopus and cucumber with a hint of wasabi and seaweed to roll it together. Also very good was the fried oysters. For our entrees, we each ordered a bento box. Chilean Sea Bass for him and Pork Belly for me. Both were excellent. Totally recommend the bento as it’s filled with little goodies such as kimchi, pickled onions, rolled omelette and fried chicken. It’s also the best value. Paired with our beers (Pilsner and a Korean Terra), so satisfying. Highly recommend this place for their service as well. Waitress was attentive and always smiling.

Hightlight: A Japanese-style Korean restaurant. My personal favorite for a light meal. Nice environment and super cute hand written menu on blackboard.

The food here was good, maybe 4.5/5 but maybe not the best value.

Nice Korean Izakaya right in the heart of Murray Hill. Food is good. Most flavors are light and fresh. Food also comes out fast. Vibe is chill and nice inside. Good place to order some wine or other drinks with good company and talk the night away Service is also very good. They also have a nice little alcove with 3 or 4 tables near the back of the restaurant that has a fire place.

Gupji has been on our bucket list for a while and we finally got a chance to give it a try. Their decor is adorable and narrow-spaced with limited indoor seating.

Pretty good atmosphere. Food was delicious and the portion was fair. Some items are a bit pricey but overall reasonable. Service was very good. Parking in the area is a little difficult.

(not all food referenced here are in the pictures) Sweet potato croquette, Wasabi octopus, grilled Chilean bass pork belly, steak, fries & cheese sticks, and salmon fried rice. These are some of the things I’ve tried at this place. It was so good that I went twice in two days. Everyone loved everything. Some person in our group even mentioned wanting to kidnap the chef so they can learn the amazing flavors he uses.
