Fantastic place ! I like the rock and roll vibe they got going on. Its just the right temperature here, especially with this overbearing heat outside. I walked here to wait on my vehicle. The 10 dollar lunch specials are great ! A chicken and cheese panini with a side salad and chips. Even the chips are pretty decent, and I’m not a big plain chip kind of person. They’re crispy, not too salty and go well with the sandwich. The panini is crispy and full of flavor. The chicken is well seasoned. The side salad was pretty good with the thick buttermilk ranch. The only complaint I had was the glob of blue cheese on top. But that’s totally my fault for not reading what was in it. Pouring ranch over the sandwich made it just as great ! I highly recommend this place for a quick drink and lunch special. They’re available for lunch on weekdays till 3pm.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Guitars & Growlers in McKinney, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. This establishment beautifully combines three of my favorite things: craft beers, mouthwatering appetizers, and live music. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat.

Amazing service! Menu was fun and everything looked amazing. They even have some vegetarian friendly options. Their falafel sandwich on a hoagie was so flavorful and fully loaded. Atmosphere was fun and laid back. 10/10 will go again!

Been coming here for a while now, my first experience was an open mic night and the warmth of the staff, the constantly rotating beer selection, and the ability to purchase 4oz glasses for the richer beers at great prices made it a regular spot for me and my friends. We started participating in the open mic night, and the other musicians are just incredibly welcoming and diverse. You’ll hear 10 different genres across several generations of musicians on any given night. It’s way better than a suburban bar has any right to be. Definitely recommend giving it a try! The brisket nachos are killer btw.

Food was awesome. Beer selection is excellent! We happened to be there when the Rusty 45s band was playing, and they absolutely rocked the place! People were clapping, dancing, smiling, laughing and having a great time. Can’t wait to go back and do it again.

I’ve visited Guitars and Growlers a couple times since they have opened. Really cool atmosphere and vibe in the entire place. They have live music, guitars for purchase, great beer selection, good food, and really friendly staff. They have both beer and wines on tap with a really good selection of both. I went on an open mic night and really enjoyed the music while we ate our food. I really like that they offer unlimited popcorn for $2. I personally would rather them up the price of each entree by .50 cents and give the popcorn out for free, but that’s just my opinion. The beer selection is really good and I really enjoyed tasting a few that I have never had before. I like the TV displays that show the beers since they rotate frequently. I personally would love it if they had a beer menu that they printed on a daily/weekly basis that could describe the beers. Sometimes it’s hard to see the names on the screens and having an actual printed menu is always nice. I assume it’s not done due to cost, but I would prefer a front and back paper with the beers listed out that I could take back to my table so I can study it a little before deciding what I wanted. Overall, I highly reccomend this place to anyone that likes beer and wants to listen to some live local artists. Another plus, it’s very kid friendly!

Great food and service. Plenty of parking and almost no crowd for lunch.

Ok so the positives…the place is clean and the food is eh ok. The best thing is that they have 43 different taps although there weren’t quite that many different beers but there are a lot. The weird or negative things depending on how you look at it…no table service. It’s a bit confusing that you come in, find a table, then go to the bar to order both food and drink. Also if you want water they may or may not tell you that it’s self serve and you can get your own around the corner from the office water cooler. The food came out fast. The menu is mostly subs, paninis, and other miscellaneous bar food. The location is kinda weird being in the middle of a strip center in a part of town you wouldn’t normally associate with a bar. This seems like a place that might favor millennials or progressives but who knows…you can be the judge of that

Great variety of beers on tap, super friendly staff, and a comfy couch. Grabbed a growler to take home too!

We accidentally found this fun place last Wednesday and returned this past Wednesday! The food is pretty good for a bar, there is a vegan option that isn’t a gross impossible burger, and music bingo is a BLAST!! The employees are all super nice and always smiling. They have a bunch of different beers (not my style, so I can’t comment), but there are some fun wines in a juicebox that are pretty tasty. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try, but please don’t go on a Wednesday bc then we might not be able to find a table
