I brought my twin 18-year-old daughters here for dinner on our trip to LA and the owner was so hospitable to us. He sat us at a booth facing a fireplace. The food was delicious and the staff was top notch. The owner showed us where movies had been filmed there and gave a wonderful talk to my daughters. Highly recommend!

I live in Michigan and came to California for a trip. I ate here and ordered the chicken Alfredo. This was hands down, the BEST Alfredo I’ve ever had!! I wish I lived closer because I have been craving this dish. I look forward to eating here when I come back out to California!

It’s one of my favorite old-school Italian restaurants. Step back in time and enjoy delicious pasta (Lasagne a must) while hanging out at one of the many booths. Also has a full bar with a friendly bartender.

Outstanding food. I ordered the eggplant parmigian, which was really great. If there were more stars possible for the food, i would give them the full range available. However, it took too long to get the food we ordered. There are too many people doing too many things, trying (unsuccessfully) to make it appear coordinated. Unfortunately, there was a noted disconnect between the person taking our order and the person delivering the food to our table. Wrong orders were delivered (one order was expressly made with “no cheese,” but the delivered order contained lots of cheese). Because the person taking the order and the person delivering it were two different people, far too much ‘back and forth’ were required to get things right. In the end, an adjustment was made to the bill, but this rarely, if ever, corrects the spoiled mood.

I’m 40 years old and have been going to Guido’s since I was a young kid. We would celebrate birthdays, graduations and in 2007 we celebrated my brother heading off to the airforce. That was the last time we were there. Last week however we went to celebrate my Dad’s birthday as they will be moving to Boston and wanted to have one last dinner there together. Great place for family!!

There aren’t many Italian restaurants that still hand make their pasta and this OG spot is one of em!! I had the fettuccine alfredo and wow was it melting in my mouth. The mozzarella was ridiculous fresh, we had the fried mozzarella and the Caprese and both were ahhhmazing. We dined indoors, the woodwork decor everywhere is beautiful, right down to the intricate wooden hearth around the huge fireplace. The outdoor patio is over the top beautiful and we can’t wait to come back for more great eats!! Lovely old school delicious Italian restaurants are hard to come by. It was super fun to see all the famous people that have visited throughout time along the hallway walls too!

We tried this place tonight, and was blown away by the amazing food and service. The warm bread served with balsamic vinegar, and oil was a great starter. I had the Lasagna, it was a large portion with a great meat sauce. We also had the chicken fettuccine alfredo, the fresh made noodles practically melted in your mouth. My drink was never empty the whole time, and I never had to ask for a refill. That’s another thing that I loved about this place, not to mention the great atmosphere. This will be a restaurant I will definitely come back to.
