Excellent! Good spot for some solid Cuban food that isn’t very expensive, either. The service was friendly and attentive.

Do not waste your money or time coming here . The food was mediocre pollo tropical taste 10 times better the beans alone were a disappointment cold and bland .cocktail drinks are joke and overpriced for what they are. The service I got was decent but one of the waiters was upset and was bad mouthing the table they were serving non stop which was a bit awkward. You’re better off going to casavana if your looking for a homemade taste in food .

Food is low quality. Had to flag down service multiple times while servers sat inside. Got a burrito bowl, they left out the beans. Didn’t taste like anything really hot sauce isn’t hot cilantro sauce isn’t noticeable vegetables were old and browning. Also got seafood risotto which was so salty we couldn’t eat it. Waitress took my food before I could even finish it. Don’t waste your time.

Wednesday June 28, 2023, I took mi wife for a lunch together and we went to Guayaba restaurant, I ordered a ribeye steak and my wife order Fruti de mare, that’s a mix of seafood with spaghetti, my wife tried the first shrimp and told me these shrimps are were rooted, she didn’t ate the shrimps but the rest of the food we’re contaminated to made our experience short, my wife ended in the emergency room of the jackson memorial hospital south campus, after severals screening the doctor told us she have a infection in her intestinal tract, caused by bacteria, viruses and parasites, she was released from the hospital 6 am Friday, just want to write this so ppl can be aware of this place and be careful where you eat!

The food is a clear disappointment. Upon opening the takeout boxes, I was surprised at how the food looked bland and of low quality. The oxtail had no seasoning. The texture of the oxtail was equivalent to a rubber shoe. The seafood combo was just flour coating mixed with chili sauce. The sweet potato fries and regular fries were worse than a fast food joint. Don’t come here. The restaurant does have a nice atmosphere, but that does not compensate for the food that I just regurgitated.

The “lomo saltado” was on point. However, that wasn’t lomo saltado it was more like a churrasco pepper steak. It didn’t have cilantro nor tomatoes.

Really liked that there is an inside/outside. The outside is very pretty and breezy. However, the waitress we had was very short with her responses. We would ask questions about the menu and she would just say I don’t know instead of taking the time to ask and finding out for us. She didn’t bring our full order but we didn’t even want to ask at that point because of her attitude. We can speak Spanish but we would get tongue tied with certain words and she would get frustrated about that and if we would read what the food item was on the menu (only in English btw) she would say to say it to her Spanish because she didn’t understand. The food was OKAY didn’t feel as warm and not all the way cooked. We went for breakfast but willing to go again to try if lunch is a better experience.
