The very best service is offered at this charming casual locally owned Interior Mexican Food restaurant! The owners greeted us warmly and gave great descriptions of food items we were ordering. I ordered the Chicken Mole’ and it was by far the best traditional Mole sauce I’ve ever had! So delicious!!!! The chicken was of high quality. They offer almost all Gluten Free items except 2. We loved the fresh, just cooked tortilla chips and salsa. My husband enjoyed a large bowl of delicious chicken tortilla soup. We left full, and very happy! It’s a must to try!

If you want a unique authentic Mexican food experience I would definitely recommend this place. The restaurant itself is charming. The person who served us was very friendly and polite and knew the menu so well. It was so easy on deciding what to order. He also explained to us that in this restaurant they had really authentic Mexican recipes and they weren’t Americanized. Their motto was Mex without the Tex.

Absolute best food we’ve had in a long time. Best Mexican food ever. Homemade, gluten free chips and tortillas. Our server, Edward, took amazing care of my husband and I from the moment we walked in. He took time explaining each dish we inquired about, gave wonderful suggestions and kept our drinks and salsa topped off! Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant! Don’t forget to end your visit with the most delicious flan ever!

Absolutely incredible, authentic Mexican food. Small, Intimate dining area makes you feel right at home. Service is personable and the staff easily recognizes returning customers. 100% recommend. Hands down the BEST and most Authentic Mexican Cuisine in the area. I’d make a trip to Corpus Christi just to visit this restaurant alone!

Wonderful authentic Mexican with not only family recipes for food but also drinks. The host was absolutely wonderful both with us and everyone who came in. We don’t like spicy food but could still enjoy a couple bites of the dip they brought to the table. There was heat but so much flavor. The food was unique and unlike any Mexican restaurant from Michigan. The host was very informative and helped us make a decision on the food based on what we could handle/ might enjoy. If you enjoy Mexican this little shop has an amazing atmosphere and even better food that anyone will enjoy.

Great tasting food, generous portions, owners and family are absolutely wonderful. All but two items are gluten free. Chef takes so much pride in his creation that as a Celiac this is one of the two places that are not dedicated gluten free where I feel safe to eat.

We are visiting family and we actually considered moving here because we love this food so much! +30 Gluten free and vegetarian options! Don’t have to worry about my allergies I can come an enjoy they are particular and caring when it comes to caring for their guests couldn’t recommend enough! I absolutely love this restaurant. This is not Tex-Mex, it is authentic Mexican cuisine. The sauces, mole, are incredible. The service is top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant. It doesn’t seem like much as you pull up but you will be delightfully surprised.
