I called to make my order and asked couple questions about the food I going to order, was a rude lady on the phone barely answered and when I asked about if they do delivery said not which fine. But she asked me if going to order yes or no when I’m ready to answer she hangs out the phone. My suggestion is needs training their people customer services skill.

My brother in law went to get soup , we have eaten here a few times and it was never anything special but he really wanted a soup at this time of night. When he went with his girlfriend and his soup came it tasted very off and plain and he asked if he could get something different after only taking two spoon fulls. When he asked if he could just order something different he was told since he put his spoon in it that no matter what he was paying for that soup. After she yelled at my brother in law in front of everyone in the restaurant and embarrassed him (he’s 19 by the way) he just paid and left. When he came home and told us and we called they talked to us like garbage and said that he should have said something while he was there which he did and got yelled at and embarrassed. The lady we spoke to was very rude , the food was never anything to brag about and the service was always trash. We will NEVERRRRRR be back.

Listen, when you’re the only white person there, you know the food is going to be fire, and it was! Everyone was super nice, and several people offered to translate for me if I needed help. Make sure you tru one of the agua frescas, the pineapple was delicious! Would definitely recommend!

The food was awesome. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. The servers were friendly and attentive to your needs. The owner also is very nice and makes sure each guest is happy. Definitely will be going back since the menu was pretty extensive.

The best Mexican restaurant in Sarasota authentic home made food . If you don’t go for ambiance that is you place .

I used to love going here before , because the service and food were so good, but the people there José the owner and the other ladies, have treated us so badly the last 3 times my family and I went there! It’s so disappointing because we love supporting small businesses, but not when they don’t even let you go pass the door (in a really rude way) if the restaurant is full without even asking if you are there to order to go!

Real authentic Mexican food.

Not truly mexican but a blend. Great food. Staff speaks very limited English. But better than my Spanish :). Be patient and kind and use your pointer finger on the menu. Lol. that helps. It will be a place we frequent now that we found it .

Tacos are just ok, but the steak is a low quality meat. Ordered yuca frites and never got them, but they sure made sure to charge for them somehow. They charged me $8 for 2 tacos while my partners 2 tacos were $4, clearly they overcharged. Disappointing and while still cheap after being overcharged, will never come back. Have plenty of better authentic joints in the area. Hope the extra money was worth it to ensure no repeat business!
