I had lunch here with a group and thought the food was okay but not outstanding. Seemed like basic Mexican food with nothing to really distinguish it. Having lived in Texas for 10 years, I’ve been to a lot of Mexican and Tex-Mex places, so I was looking for something a little better than average. They have a lot of options on the menu, which is a plus, so maybe I needed to try something different.

Both were yummy!! My tacos came with perfectly spiced fish in soft shells, with cabbage, avocado, rice, refried beans, and a spicy sauce.

We stopped here as a family while in Charlottesville for UVA freshman orientation. As former Texans, the food was really good! I had the fish tacos and the pico was fresh, burned my mouth a bit but in a good way. My husband had something with shrimp and vegetables that were so tasty I cleaned his veggies up when he had come to his stopping point. Definitely will return in the years kiddo is in school. Glad we found this place our first trip out!

My wife and I enjoyed the Mexican food here. On a hot summer day, we were also accompanied by our two large dogs: a german shepherd and labrador. We all appreciated the friendly staff, plenty of shaded area for our pets, and the roomy outdoor seating. We will visit this place again when we visit UVA in the near future.

Was not good at all. This was the first and last time here. No flavor in the food. Rice was plain with green beans and corn. Ordered a kids grilled cheese. They brought us a grilled ham and cheese and said that was what was on the menu. Had the server check the menu and he was incorrect. The bread had no butter at all. Spent way too much for it to not be good.
