I have visited Grioli’s many times but my most recent visit left a lasting impression and I felt the need to update my rating and share. It was some of the best service I’ve seen at a restaurant in a while. Kristal was my server and was very friendly and helpful. I typically order a tiramisu to go but this time I decided to dine in and I have to say that dining in is a vastly different experience than ordering takeout. I was unsure about what to order, but Kristal helped me figure it out and was open to customizing my order to suit my needs. Lastly, I attached a picture of the tiramisu that I of course had to get for dessert and not only was it beautifully decorated, it was delicious as well. Thank you so much Kristal and Liz T.

I’ve been buying food from grioli’s for along time now but I will no longer be buying anything from here again. It took over an hour for them to deliver us food. Estimated time was 5:36- 5:56pm. They didn’t arrive till after 6:15pm. We got a very small order of fried pickles. It used to be filled before. Our food was cold and the subs had very little meat on it. I spent over 60$ on everything so this is very disappointing!

Food and service is never consistent, everything always tastes different from the time before, wait time for food is drastically long which I’ve ignored for some time being that this is one of the few restaurants in town but tonight in my vegetarian sub I found 2 chunks of chicken which is super off putting being a vegetarian. I understand cross contamination happens which I’m fine with up to a certain extent but 2 chunks of chicken seems pretty bizarre for a restaurant that stands by made fresh with fresh ingredients with quality and consistency. I have realized in my visits that things run much smoother when the owner is there and there isn’t multiple teenagers running the place. Had to call multiple times and speak with the manager to receive a refund. Finally received one a week later. Will never eat here again.

What a nice surprise. We were in the area and decided to try Grioli’s because their menu had steak, pasta and pizzas on the menu which meant everyone in the family could have exactly what they like. So, we got the sirloin with marsala substituted with Alfredo, chicken Parmigiano with spaghetti and a mini cheese pizza. Expected good food and were blown away by great food! Amazing flavors, great portion size and top notch service. Our server Elizabeth was great and she made sure we felt welcome and ensured everything was good. Lovely family time at a lovely restaurant. Thank you to everyone who works there. We will surely visit again when we’re in the area.

We order 2 large pizzas, 1 small pizza, and fried pickles. All pizzas were undercooked which is crazy because it took them longer than they said to have it ready. We even added notes asking for the pizzas well done. The fried pickles were so covered in grease, we went through four paper towels to make them edible.

We have ordered from Griolis a few times now. The Bronx Bomber is the bomb. Pun intended. The Godfather, I believe, is like the bomber, except it’s in pizza form and has olives. That tastes amazing. Love the Paisano is one of the best sandwiches. If you order to be delivered or pick up. The downfall is the fries. They are always soggy as well are the chicken tenders. They need to put their fries in something other than Styrofoam. I don’t know of the atmosphere. I always order. ♥️

We don’t eat here often and this will definitely be the last time. Unfortunately, the food quality has gone down, my Athenian wrap wasn’t even made with a proper pita and was mostly onions and lettuce with a very stingy serving of meat. Not worth the cost.

Embarrassing front of house staff. A bunch of high school girls who don’t know much about customer service yet. Staring, laughing and then gossiping about customers right in front of them. No accountability for rude behavior. All I did was call back to remove two cannolis from my order and the tone on the other end of the phone was as if I ruined this person’s day, then I was hung up on. I told Avery (name on order slip) up front about it all and no eye contact, shrugged shoulders and barley an apology. I wasn’t two steps out the door before she ran up to staff just sitting by the door telling them about it all. Management doesn’t care as I contacted them in two different ways. It was my 8 year anniversary, just wanted some easy take out. How embarrassing to be represented by that. I don’t want a refund. I just hope to god these girls get some accountability before they grow up and further humiliate themselves.

We eat here 2-3 times a week. Normally everything is great. However sometimes I don’t know what is going on but things are just all wrong. My food was delivered but missing a whole Meal so I called and yes refund was giving and it was sent back out to me. So after waiting another hour and at this point eating alone not with my family. It arrives to be wrong and cold soggy and nasty. It hurts my heart to even complain because this is one of my favorite food places but gosh I’m fustrated tonight.. I’m sorry! But please do better…
