Most of the food was not very good in my opinion. Lacked flavor. Even the queso wasn’t good and I didn’t think queso could be bad. I do have pretty high standards tho I’m coming from San antonio TX. But I liked the street tacos. And the servers were nice.

7/23/23 – Had their food in March and always have their top notch drinks. The burritos are big and delicious. I never request anything specific to drink. I tell the bartender (Larry) i trust him and to surprise me. He’s never let me down.

Absolutely incredible food for seriously reasonable prices. It is not on the strip so you can actually find a seat for lunch and the staff is just as nice as can be. Well air conditioned. Comfortable. Delicious. They definitely deserve every one of the awards we saw on the walls.

Overall, worth a visit. I’m not a local, but well traveled. It’s a nice small spot and conveniently located next to a local brewery. The parking isn’t that great, but I guess that’s the same for most of the oceanfront. Regarding the tacos, I think their heart’s in the right place and they’re nearly where they need to be, but the tortillas just weren’t that good. I’m a firm believer in the quality corn tortillas served in Southern California taco shops, and think this place could stand to benefit from going that route. These tortillas tasted like the ones from a grocery store. Clearly, lots of local folks think that’s just grand as is, but I believe it’s a missed opportunity and room for improvement. Would love to give it another chance some day.
