Absolutely phenomenal in every way! The Lobster Bites are worth every penny, the Catfish is both crispy and juicy, the mac and cheese is perfect, and the yams go well with literally everything. My wife got the wings too and love them! If I could give it 6 stars I would, wow! Great place to spend my birthday!!

This place has it all!! Let’s start off with the stellar service from Kee, who was friendly, thoroughly accurate, and attentive. There wasn’t a thing I wanted that she didn’t anticipate. 30% tip it is! The atmosphere was super chill. They played the BEST Era of R&B, and you have a choice of booth, bar, lounge, or table. Finally, I took my pick of the soul food smorgasbord!! The catfish was perfectly seasoned and deliciously fresh. The greens were seasoned to perfection with great consistency. Mac and cheese was fire, and the yams were yamming!! Lol I will definitely be back for more. Worth every penny!!

The food and atmosphere of Grill 55 are amazing. First off, the music. They played the full long-version of Tony Toni Tone Anniversary. But also a nice mix of older and new music. Lauryn Hill Ex-Factor. Jagged Edge, New Edition, Tank, Chris Brown. Ne-Yo and more. I wanted to sing every song.

Grille 55’s food and service is always a 10/10 so I decided to write a review. It’s an upscale vibe, so you’ll feel comfortable dressing up or dressing down. Last night, I sat at the bar and my bartender was Jamal. He was the only bartender, however, he managed the bar very well. His service was fast and friendly. He kept everyone at the bar happy & our glasses full. His appearance was professional yet stylish. I pay attention to things like that because I’ve worked in service. Now let’s get into the food .. every bite was amazing. I had a special request to top off my salmon and lobster tail with parmesan cheese (loved it!). The greens were flavorful and macaroni was bomb. My friend ordered chicken tenders (and a side of mac after she tried mine ). She said the tenders were really good. Their prices are reasonable considering the quality of the meal and atmosphere. Last but not least, the cleanliness! I told y’all .. I’ve worked in service, so I know how things are supposed to look. Definitely, give them a try!
