Came in during the first week for dinner. Keema Samosas were excellent, tender crust with a very nice savory filling. The common chutneys seem freshly made and the coriander especially was very nice. I ordered Sabaz Chicken and my wife got Ginger Kadal Chicken. The Sabaz had green pepper, paneer, potato, and cauliflower, also mixed in. The sauce was tangy and at a 3, not overly spicy. The Kadal, at a 2 was excellent, not at all muddled, the flavors were well defined and bright. We have a limited number of Indian restaurants in Northern KY, but if they maintain the current quality, this is my new favorite.

Really enjoy this place. It offers great variety, and the food has been outstanding each time I have visited or ordered carry out. Service is very good. The portions are substantial, so you typically have leftovers for later. The lunch buffet is also very good.

Two of us stopped in the Grill of India late last night, and had a fantastic experience. The smiles of the friendly staff, and the quality of the food were both five star. Both of us ordered the Chicken Shahi Korma, vegetable sampler appetizer and regular naan. All of the food was superb, and the spice level 4 suited us perfectly. We are enjoying our leftovers today, and look forward to our next visit! Thanks so much for your great hospitality, and decadent food! See you soon!

The waiter/counter guy/cashier is a total a$$hat. The food is okay, but dinner servings are very small for the price. My guess is that they make up for what they lose at the lunch buffet in the dinner prices.

We’ve been three times, once with our 3 year old son. The waiter interacted with him and didn’t ignore him like most people taking orders do at a restaurant. My son will consistently eat what he’s given here-a feat, as it is exotic food that he’s not used to.

I grew up in Clifton and have always enjoyed access to great Indian food. I’m glad to have grill of India in my neighbor. The food is amazing and the service is impressive. My wife and I went for lunch and garlic naan was served hot and to order for the buffet, they had large selection of vegetarian and vegan offerings, and an attentive staff that never left you looking for refills or more naan.

Best Indian buffet I’ve ever seen anywhere. Very high quality, extremely fresh tasting food. This will be your new favorite Indian restaurant. The staff are also very nice and attentive.

The owners are incredibly friendly. Lunch buffet is small, but they vary it a little bit every week. Naan is included. Food is excellent, plenty of parking, and service is top notch.

This is a smaller place. Mom and pop feel. Very home feeling. The two gentlemen who were working the main area were very polite and friendly! I ordered the same thing I had as take out one other time, chicken tikka masala.

I was so excited to learn a new Indian place was coming to NKY. I drive 30+ minutes into Ohio when I want Indian because the other options in NKY don’t measure up. Our first attempt to try this place was a random weekday. We arrived before opening so we drove around the area until they opened. We came back about 30 mins after opening and the doors were locked with no signs of life, except a lot of garbage bags outside a back door. Our second try was a week or so later just after opening. The service was friendly and attentive but slowly slacked off and the food was pretty tasty with a nice selection. My favorites were missing but there was enough to make me happy. There is one table that felt crammed in making seating slightly uncomfortable if you’re sat in that unfortunate spot. It was uncomfortably warm inside and smelled old, maybe musty or that smell old cellars have. Maybe it’s all the wood inside which I guess is leftover from the prior business. Whatever the source it was powerful. After several long minutes the temperature inside became more pleasant and eventually even a touch chilly so I think we were just getting there as business was starting. The musty smell never left but the spice smell took over at some point, and was a little overwhelming, but what can you do about that. It was preferred to the other smell. Though I thought the food was tasty and selection was good, it was too spicy for me (admittedly I do not like any spice, but can handle a little) and spent the whole meal with a runny nose and in need of more refills. I think the price is high, even considering the selection. The dinner menu also appeared pricey. The buffet(s) I frequent in Ohio offer more selection and dishes I like better for a dollar or so less, or they are much cheaper and always have a rotation of 6 or 8 quality dishes for $7. I’m guessing they rotate the buffet selections but our visit offered tikka, makhani dal, chili chicken, curry chicken, Korma, saag paneer (usually a fave, but I didn’t like this much), two soups, fish pakora that didn’t taste right, and two others I didn’t sample. I liked the tamarind a lot and wish they would have had chicken pakora or mater. I’ll give this place another try, especially since we had coupons come in the mail, but I think spice and price will keep me driving into Ohio. They are priced similarly to the Indian off Buttermilk and I no longer go to that location, price being one big reason.
