Grill City is located inside Seafood City Supermarket. Convenient location on N Decatur off 215. Ample parking with handicap access. Parking lot is clean. No masks required. Handsanitizers are stationed within the store. Friendly customer service. You can eat in or take out. There’s a variety of selections at the food counter specifically Asian Filipino cuisine. Each item is labeled for your convenience. The portions are generous. The skewered chicken and pork BBQ are grilled perfectly and very tasty. The pinakbet a mixed vegetable dish was delicious. If you are craving for Filipino cuisine this is the restaurant to go to.

Friendly staff, delicious food! I got the bbq pork with chopsuey. It was SO good! Plus it’s inside of Seafood City on North Decatur, so you can shop in the grocery area–we bought some lemon ginger candies, and there’s a Red Ribbon cake shop inside too. We got some mocha flan cake on the way out. Yum!

Located inside of the seafood city market, this was my first visit here. The meat skewers looked so good. They had a promo of buy 4 get 1 free for $14.99 which seemed a little pricey but they looked so good I took a chance… My husband and I did enjoy they but agreed that for the price we probably won’t go back anytime soon. The skewers come in pork and chicken… Same BBQ glaze on both but the pork was a little tougher to chew.

I bought 2 calamansi juice and a couple of 4 season’s to cool down since it was hot outside. Unfortunately the 2 servers were just standing around being rowdy and boisterous when it is only 7:30 pm. They were unmindful of customers who wanted to pay so I had to return my drink. Typical Filipino Marites and Karen who love to gossip during working hours. Definitely still needs adult supervision since they think 7:30 p.m. is already playtime like little kids. Aren’t you getting paid until closing time?

I was not impressed by a server, who was very rude. We bought a combo for lunch with side dishes. (this was Dec.5th/2022-Maryland Parkway Las Vegas). We just asked for a little bit of ice cube, she said “walang ice” (with very rude demeanor), which was impossible.

Wow. Do not place a doordash pickup order here. They do not monitor who picks up food. I was told someone asked for my order for delivery. It was not set for delivery, and they couldn’t tell me who picked it up, and the cashier just shrugged her shoulders while chewing gum and dismissing me by telling me to call whoever I placed the order from. When Doordash support called the store, the same gum chewing cashier answered the phone and then handed it to a supervisor. Support was also told the order was picked up, but yet it hadn’t been closed out on their terminal showing as a pending order. It was very difficult to get a resolution from Doordash for some reason but I don’t blame them. I was also pointed to and stared at while they were on the phone. It was not my problem they didn’t check order confirmation on a pickup. Maybe they shouldn’t set orders on a counter. I have a hard time believing someone actually asked for my order by name because Jill Marie in a Philippino market is pretty uncommon. They don’t even deserve the required star.

I placed an order of party trays weeks before my daughter’s birthday party. By the time we got there to pick up our order, it’s still not ready! They literally cooked it in front of us (looks like they forgot about the order). So disappointing. I’m very upset because we we’re late at the place we rented for my daughter’s birthday!!!

1 chicken skewer was $4.50 and you only get four very tiny pieces of chicken that are mostly burnt and very hard to chew. I also purchased eight little neck clams that were a ridiculous $14.50. The prices are very high and the smell is outrageously disgusting. I do not recommend Grill City to anyone. I am sorry Grill City but that is the truth.
