06/23/21: I had breakfast at Grill 55 while staying at the Renaissance for work. I was greeted immediately and seated quickly. The restaurant wasn’t too busy. I sat in a both and was served coffee right away. I ordered an All American Breakfast and got my food in less than 10 minutes. No complaints on fast everything was. The breakfast wasn’t typical and nothing spectacular. It wasn’t bad or anything. I wished there was a little bit more variety.

I personally feel the lamb lollipops is the best thing on the menu. Everything else is okay (not bad, not great). My only issue is that the prices listed on google are not the prices listed at the restaurant.

My Experience
08/18/21. Not amazing but not bad either. Just your regular hotel pub. Beers are a little pricey. Food is good but nothing to rave about. Their restaurant Envy is closed for dinner. Only open for breakfast. I ordered the steak sandwich and a Caesar salad for takeout. It actually was pretty tasty but the presentation was awful. This is a good place in a pinch. I didn’t have a car that night so my choices were limited.

Limited menu with covid. Friendly staff. Quick food prep. Can do takeout if desired. Several TVs with sports. Super location next to Las Vegas Convention center. Modern look. Well stocked bar. No casino but that’s a plus for me.

In 2022 racism still exist, I learned this first hand on my visit to Vegas at grill 55. I was charged $5 more per glass of wine & served a smaller serving then anyone at the bar … when ordering the same glass of wine that someone else purchased for me they were charged a cheaper price. While people offered cards to pay for my beverages, they were turned down but excepted by others who ordered at last call & served 3 shots at a time but worked for the people who offered to pay for me while there tab for 4 drinks was $13. Everyone I held conversation with around me tabs totaled under $20 while they paid tabs for 5+ beverages than I did yet my tab was almost $50 for 2 wines & a appetizer.
