Waitress was more focused on talking to friends and on phone. Had to loudly announce that we are paying the bill. For her to get off her butt and ring it out. Burger bread was soggy. Onion rings tasted like the grease had not been changed in a while the chef salad was ok for the thinly shredded lettuce same kind that went on the burger

Plenty of room for a Big Truck or 3….IF YOU’RE BOBTAIL!! << Read this twice! I had Roast Beef over Filling. Filling is right. I ate all of the roast beef and maybe ⅓ of the filling. They brought Plenty of mashed potatoes and gravy too! My other side was a side salad. My wife had Liver and Onions and only ate about ½. Nothing wrong with the food. They just bring PLENTY! Our server was nice and pleasant with a beautiful smile that she shared freely! I believe this is an old bus terminal....thus the name, and could use a little refresh. But, overall a good place to visit.

Cute and clean. We had breakfast in the “sunroom”, which had just a few booths and separate from the main dining area. Menus rather unique…printed on the placemats. Great coffee. Our server made sure I received a fresh cup from a fresh pot. We ordered omelets and they came as we ordered. Italian omelet and Florentine omelet were generously filled. Oddly enough the Italian omelet came with country sausage instead of Italian. My omelet had plenty of spinach and cheese. Reasonably priced menu.Outside tables. Across from the Memorial Park in Shippensburg.

We had a decent meal here recently. We didn’t realize that the placemat/menu was printed on both sides. I’m a bit slow sometimes. Once we saw that we remarked that they do have a pretty good menu.

Two friends and I visited for breakfast about a week ago, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of home fries, and everything was delicious as diner food usually is. The atmosphere was amazing, I felt like I was in a ’90s film featuring a group of characters in a diner, which I can say is pretty rare anymore as everything has been modernized in terms of design, at least in my brief experience. Not this place. It’s as old school as it gets, and the service was amazing. From the lady checking us out at the register at the end of the meal, to our waitress everyone was super friendly and the food came super quick. I think we must have waited a total of 6 minutes between the time we ordered and the time we were having our plates sat in front of us. Maybe that’s an exaggeration but it couldn’t have been more than 10; you know how time flies when friends get to talking. Overall I would say it’s the best dining experience in shippensburg, though not too terribly far ahead of the select family restaurant, which I also rate highly.

The atmosphere in this iconic building is relaxing and nostalgic for many people in Shippensburg. Most of the servers are lifelong residents of Shippensburg and are familiar with their customers and treat them like family. The food is delicious and service is fast and friendly. They have an outdoor seating area for those that like to dine outside, and for pet owners.
