This is a great little Cafe. The prices are reasonable, and portions big. The gypsy with a side of sausage gravy was amazing. The spinach and Feta omelet add mushrooms were great too. The service was also top notch, thanks for a great breakfast.

Small Town cafe with a very laid back atmosphere, suitable for the entire family. PROS- The menu contained a great deal of variety that says these cooks earn their paychecks almost as well the taste of the entrees. Our waitress was seasoned which helped ensured we ordered correctly as she prompted us thru choices of various sides. We weren’t aware toast came with the hobo and gypsy, but even if we hadn’t got it I must say one of the best things about this diner is the very reasonable prices. It’s very rare for any eatery to maintain a fair price in an industry as competitive as the restaurant business. The price added to the comfort of the atmosphere as I imagined the owners where people u could trust. The interior is bit outdated, but I was more impressed that manners & hospitality did not seem to be.

Great food and it’s a cute cozy small cafe! The Irvin burger (in photo) is really tasty! I seriously recommend stopping here if you haven’t tried them already!!

Not the most friendly if you’re not older and a part of the community. Been here 3 times and each time has been such an unfriendly welcoming. Every time I came, I originally came in with the idea to dine-in, but once I walked in and was greeted the way I was, made me want to turn right back around. Although, their food is great! My apologies but the community is closed off and makes you feel unwelcome.

Met for a business meeting- ordered the turkey bacon club. Was very tasty, but very difficult to eat! I’m not 4, and they cut it into 4 little triangles!!

Gresa’s is the classic small town cafe of your dreams. The menu is large, which can sometimes be concerning, but everything I’ve eaten here has been delicious. Portions are very generous and prices are very reasonable. It’s not a fancy place but it doesn’t have to be, it’s that good. Well worth the drive from Carbondale … or even further!

Very busy but still received fast service. The food was hot and delicious. The price was great and the portions were generous. I’ve had breakfast there twice and it was really good both times. They kept the tables bussed quickly and everyone was friendly. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy.

All American breakfast very fast for a good price. 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs is 3.25. On a Sunday morning the place was packed keeping four waitresses hopping but that didn’t stop the food from being out in under 4 minutes.

The hot beef and the gyro was amazing. Pita was a little crunchy, meat was hot and the tsaziki sauce on point. Better than many nearby gyro shops. The hot beef is a classic, salty gravy over home made mash potatoes and thinly sliced beef. A must try, you won’t regret it!!
