My family and I met up for a mini-family reunion for dinner before going out to the Rush County Fair. The place was slammed, but staff was doing a great job keeping everyone happy. I appreciated the un-conventional picnic table in the dining room, this allowed all of my family and I to sit together at one table. They had a great Ribeye steak special, and it was cooked perfectly! They have a mixture of tables, booths, and high-tops for families to sit together. (And a few barstools for solo guests. )

Make sure you’re hungry or sharing the double cheeseburger is huge!!! Well seasoned, not store bought patties and cooked to perfection!!!! Great little place I will visit again!!!

Great chicken fried steak, cut and breaded right in the kitchen. The house made fries were also solid, being crisp without being overdone. This is the best food you’re going to find in some distance.

Ate here about a month ago. I spend most of my free time traveling around Kansas and I always try to find a good Chicken Fried Steak. The one here may cost a bit more than some places but it is well worth it. At the time of writing it is my favorite one I have had in the state. I can’t wait to return to eat here again! Nice folks too!

I ordered the CFS dinner $15. Husband had special (homemade fries with nacho cheese, taco meat, jalapenos, and onions $9 Both were very good with huge portions and includes tea or coffee!!! Impressed me that the waitress wipes down ketchup, mustard, and everything on table everytime she cleans off a table. She was also thoughtful enough to offer to put drinks in styrofoam cups so we could take them with us when we left. Will definitely stop again when driving through!!!

They have the best food there ever I had a two-piece catfish in it was totally out of this room very great help there and waitresses. Sarah was great, she was our waitress. But the others were just as good as I seen.

Very welcoming place! Easy to find and Super Service and Food!! Split the special a 12 oz steak, choice of potato, 2 salads and garlic toast. Ordered it medium rare and it was perfect! Hope to back again sometime!
