Home of the ORIGINAL!! Taco Tuesday. (p.s. Taco Bell should be ashamed of themselves for stealing this from Gregory’s)

This is a great family owned business! The food is always very good and the service is even better! I’ve never had a bad meal or drink there. I’m glad that a place like this, and many others around it, are local.

We eat at Gregory’s at least once a month, sometimes more often. The menu has seafood favorites as well as excellent meat dishes, including fantastic burgers. The food is delicious, always prepared well and with just the right balance of fancy and satisfying. It has been a Somers Point standard for decades, and in my opinion, the food has gotten even better in recent years! It is and always has been family-owned and you can tell in how well they treat their customers. This place is an A+!

Tried to see what the hype is about this place, typical tourist trap restaurant. Food was barely warm, bartender took forever with drinks, beers only, to busy chatting about Phillies, waitress was best part of the meal, stay away if you like hot food and quick bar service. This place is a dump and outdated, time to move on, and I would not buy a taco from this place if it was the last taco joint in NJ, a Jersey shore “restaurant” that should be seafood focused worried about “Taco Tuesday” give me a break!!

I am not sure the guys name, but whoever the bartender in the the back porch bar with the sideburns was absolutely terrible. We were told by the hostess in the restaurant to try the back bar so we could watch the pennstate vs wvu game. We went back and got 4 seats. I have been sober for 5 years and don’t drink but always tip. Well it started off by my friends and I ordering waters and he had made a bunch of smart comments that we were only ordering waters. My one buddy ordered a drink and my other friends were going to wait to get drinks when we ordered entrees. Well we ordered appetizers and after we got them he told us we would have to leave the bar if we weren’t ordering drinks. I told him don’t worry we are going to tip out anyway we will take care of you. And he said well we want to make sure everyone has fun insinuating we are ruining people time because we weren’t ordering drinks. Needless to say we paid for our appetizers and left. We did still tip him. I will never be sure to not stop by Gregory’s to watch a game again

Put Gregory’s on your list of top restaurants to visit! As someone who bases their vacations around food, this easily makes the list. The combo of reasonable prices, great atmosphere, and delicious food (nachos, fried pickles, all burgers, and tacos are my favorites) makes Gregory’s one of the best. Highly recommend!

This is a great option if you’re looking for an extensive menu of well prepared plates. It’s not for you if you’re opposed to a lively and at times loud atmosphere, but this place is a favorite with locals and visitors alike. A couple of the favorite dishes our group tried were Mussels Italiano in the fra diablo sauce and the Shrimp Cajun Style. Both were served with bread for dipping and are currently on The Regular Appetizer Menu. Our group which generally meets up the first Saturday of our stay decided to forgo The Crab Trap madness. Perhaps we will make a visit there later in the week because their food is likewise delightful.

The entire state can’t get free tacos because of you. You really think you deserve to coin Taco Tuesday? Did you invent Tacos? Even Tuesday?
