If you haven’t tried this place, I highly recommend you do! It’s a cute little spot, Perfect for order pick up. The spicy chicken sandwich is so good! It’s simple with a spicy slaw and a juicy crispy chicken breast but it’s like a flavor explosion in your mouth. And the potato puffs are addictive. Right now they have the pineapple fold dessert to finish it off, very yummy.

I used to come here 10yrs ago when I was a student at Cal. It amazing then and its still same great quality now! It was so nostalgic since nothing much has changed besides the fact they have salads now which is a great addition. Its a must visit if you are in berkeley. Much love for Gregoire.

As someone who enjoys good food, and is typically not a sandwich person, I was blown away by the incredibly tasty bites at Grégoire. The salmon melt and potato puffs were the best! The service was also incredible as they generously remade a “too spicy” sandwich for my daughter with no questions and wearing a smile. I will hit Grégoire up anytime I’m in Berkeley!

I really enjoyed the food here! A local in the area recommended this place since they constantly have a rotating menu. You never know what they will have! They have a self-ordering kiosk window or you can order online for pickup/delivery.

The potato’s puffs are so good. They come out freshly fried and when you bite into them they taste so creamy. Paired with the sauce you instantly want to eat one more. Be careful as they are quite hot when they first come.

I don’t think this place deserves any of its hype. The poutine was OK but quickly gets soggy. I ordered the bay scallop salad and my friend ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich – both were cold, unseasoned, and overpriced for what they were. In terms of the service, the cashier had an inapropriate interaction with me and was generally cold when we were ordering. There are great French restaurants in the Bay Area that you can visit instead of this place. This one may be convenient but it would be my last choice for lunch or dinner in the Gourmet Ghetto.

Gregoire use to be my favorite high-end sandwich go to in Berkeley, though now I don’t even think they can compete with Ike’s or subway. The sliced Roast beef I got for this season was overtly spiced with mustard, the lamb patty is a serious downgrade from their previous lamb offerings. A while ago, I also tried their potato leek soup, and the soup tasted as if someone poured an entire tub of salt into it, what happened to the Gregoire that I use to love?? The only thing that’s worth ordering now is their potato puffs and nothing else, big disappointment, I regret taking my relatives to gregoire.
