My son’s mentor group held a dinner here tonight. The staff was friendly and patient with everyone. The rib tips were amazing, and the burgers looked good, too. The menu had everything; oxtail, turkey tails, turkey tips, smothered chicken, catfish, you name it. The prices were more than fair especially for the portions, and the greens were on point. Tiny little place, but highly recommended. Takes credit cards.

Very poor customer service! I called simply to find out what was on the dinner menu today and was told they have a website! A lot of websites are notorious for not being maintained or updated but I will never force anyone to make me come spend my money with them. I don’t think it’s too much to ask for this before you spend your gas and hard earned money. I never experienced this rudeness under the previous owners & ate there frequently.

I Love this place, their lamb chops are awesome. However their side dishes Are a hit or miss. They can definitely work on the macaroni and cheese. But the staff are friendly and give off a welcoming environment

Not a fan of the greens, 2nd time I tried them. The meatloaf was AWESOME, chicken wings & pork chops needed more seasoning. Sweet potatoes were good, the Mac n cheese, chicken tenders & spaghetti was ok, the turkey tips was NOT GOOD and the turkey chops were ok. Not worth the $72 I spent!!!

I came from Illinois for a football tournament and we stumbled across this gem. The food was amazing the service was great and I felt like I was home with my family. We went for breakfast before a 5 hour ride home and took dinner to go. Great job a must try and the oxtail was falling off the bone so tender, Also the greens were outta this world.

I ordered the smothered chicken wings and fried catfish with dressing, collard greens, french fries and hush puppies. The staff was quite pleasant and the order was ready when I arrived. The food was rather disappointing though. The seasoned fries did not have much flavor and were dry. The chicken wings were a nice size. The gravy was okay but the skin was quite rubbery. The catfish flavor was just okay, although it was cooked well, nice and tender. The greens were a bit too salty. This is a local restaurant and I will give them another try. I like that they have some dishes that you can’t find elsewhere like oxtail.
