Cash only! There is an ATM machine onsite 🙂 so no excuses. Food was great and came out very quickly. Eggs were not over cooked and bathroom was clean.

Took 25 minutes when they were not busy, to get my bacon and cheese omelet. No hash browns on plate that I had to order on the side. Apparently the omelet didn’t have any bacon in it as the waitress took the food back to the kitchen after i complained that i didn’t get the side of hash browns i ordered. It took 5 minutes to get the food back. The bacon was way under cooked, I couldn’t eat bacon that that rubbery and gross. Waitress said they could have cooked that bacon more. She took the coffee of the bill as her way of apologizing for the meal. Other tables got served before I did after arriving after I did. Some one at work recommended diner and it has good Google reviews, but I would never go back or recommend the Green Owl.

BEST LOCAL BREAKFAST, PERIOD!!! No where else on The Ave can you find such a cheap & delicious breakfast! The Owner is soo friendly, I always see him in the kitchen, and the waitresses there are SO welcoming every time! Also, the best part is, no matter how busy they are, your food literally comes out within 5 minutes! Simple, amazing, home cooked food! I’m a Local and My best friend Donald and I go there for breakfast often, and it’s always amazing.. sitting on the patio on a beautiful day, with the super welcoming waitress, and you get an amazing home cooked breakfast within 5 minutes! And 2 eggs, sausage, toast & jam for only $8, on THE AVE, you can’t beat that price! I even saw an article written once about how the owner refused to raise his already cheap prices because he wanted to keep the locals and regulars happy. I really CANT say enough good things about this place.. My morning always starts out amazing whenever I start my day with breakfast here. It’s truly my FAVORITE local breakfast spot and always will be!

Such a good breakfast spot! Fast, friendly service, delicious hot food & great coffee. The chocolate chip pancakes, grits, eggs and bacon were tasty and super fresh. Our server was helpful, attentive and very nice. Loved it – we will be back!!

1st time but now our favorite breakfast place. We sat outside and super fast, efficient service. My husband is picky about his veggie omelet and home fries. He really enjoyed both. I was tempted by the biscuits and gravy but had my usual lower cal plate.

Really simple and delicious breakfast at, dare I say it, AFFORDABLE prices for Delray Beach. I like the simple fried eggs with crispy bacon and the pancakes are amazing as well. I asked them to make me a breakfast sandwich once and it was delicious. They dont charge you extra for iced coffee because they recognize that it’s literally the same hot coffee poured over ice. Classic, straight-forward diner experience which is what we love about the place honestly. Love the remodel too. The bill is brought to your table with your order and you won’t be asked about it again, get up to pay – CASH ONLY.
