Making pizza is a family tradition that goes back 55 years when Thomas and Irene Vettraino bought an old farmhouse bar along with its green lantern. They passed along their savory pizza recipe to their daughter, Marlene, who is the present owner.

Their pizza is amazing! My sister in law is allergic to gluten and she said they have the best gluten free pizza she’s ever had! Unfortunately she lives in West Michigan so my suggestion would be to try to branch out to Grand Rapids! Also having gluten free pizza as an option at more locations

I love the pizza I have just started knowing about several months ago when moving to Birmingham, Michigan. My last order how ever was one of the best pizza experiences I’ve ever had. I had a delivery order and when the driver arrived at my door he pulled out two pizzas. I stated I hadn’t ordered two. He without hesitation admitted the “lite cook” option I opted for was missed by them so they gave me the one that was normal cooked, and the one that was lite cooked. Not only have I not had a pizza spot own mistakes in the past, I have never heard of the idea of also providing the mistake pizza. This warmed my heart and it didn’t go to waste. I like other brands of pizza along with Green Lantern but because of this amazing customer service, I may never have a delivery order to my condo from any one else. Thank you Green Lantern, your honest approach to customer service is a refreshing reminder that great companies still exist.

Second time ordering from here and when I tell you they are the BEST, I mean it! I always get the BBQ chicken. The chicken is real chicken people, and the BBQ sauce is KING but don’t forget about the crispy bust soft crust. Y’all know what you’re doing and it definitely shows. I will never go anywhere else for my pizza. At first I was hesitant because of the prices but the couple extra dollars is definitely worth it. The amount of quality toppings they include on your pizza is incomparable, especially on the Meat Lovers! The workers are friendly and truly care about the quality of food they serve. They also deliver quickly! Definitely recommend 10/10!
