The food was okay but my gyro sandwich was way overpriced. Paid $20 for a “jumbo” gyro pita sandwich. It did not deliver on the jumbo description. It was actually on the smallish side compared to other gyros I’ve had. The sandwich also had equal amounts of fries and gyro meat, which is a real turnoff for me. OTOH, the fries we had on the side were good and reasonably priced.

We stumbled across this restaurant while visiting Denville for the afternoon and boy were we happy that we did. Awesome lamb gyro (I regretted that I didnt get the bigger size… not because the portion was small… it wasn’t… but it was so delicious it left my taste buds wanting more even if I was full) and chicken souvlaki, delicious thick french fries (tasted fresh cut/not frozen and were perfectly cooked), super friendly lady running the place, awesome esoteric music playing on the radio (and a jukebox that we didn’t use but could have if we weren’t already enjoying the music so much), and Greek goods for sale. We’ll definitely be back to this gem!

We stumbled upon Greece Lightning by accident (mainly because Danville Dairy had such a long line), and we were so happy with our experience. Cynthia our server was so wonderful to my family. We cannot wait to go back again!

My co-worker and I were very hungry and didn’t have lunch until almost 4pm! I luckily found this place near my job and we decided to order two chicken gyros. It was DELICIOUS. I would say the only flaw was it needs more of that white sauce! I can’t wait to try more of the menu from here in the future.

Wonderful, tasty Greek food served by the nicest people. Absolutely the best Greek food in the area! I always advise to order any Greek specials of the day as they are always fabulous. There is also “Jersey Boardwalk Eats” available within this establishment so everyone can enjoy their favorite foods!

Ordered a Beef Gyro and while it was good, it was not worth almost $16. There was barely any meat on it and for being almost $16 I should be way more full. There are no sides along with the Gyro either. I also ordered extra sauce on the side. I think I was charged for it because I saw the price change, but I am unsure as I don’t have a receipt – I did not get the sauce on the side so if I was charged, that is frustrating. I did not realize until I was back in my office.
