Worse Chinese food I have ever bought the rice was so dry and it sucked all the moisture out of my mouth the sesame chicken was so horrible and the juice from it was god awful the cheese wontons were soggy and the cheese tasted rotten I will never eat there again and suggest people follow my lead worst Chinese restaurant in Morgantown by far 10 thumbs down

I was a regular customer and always tip over 20% on every order. I also recommend anybody looking for good chinese food in Morgantown to try great wall. However there is an error on the online menu that caused some confusion. Instead of just comping me for the error, I was accused of trying to get free food. “You can’t get free food because of a website error” is what I was told. Fix ur damn website and try having some customer service skills.

The cooks need to start being more mindful about how they cook I’ve made several order’s in the last year to only still keep receiving the same sort of issues the food is overcooked to the point it feels like you are eating hard plastic and very rubbery, ive made special request to remind the cook’s to be mindful! but I don’t feel i should have to do that all the time they should improve and pay attention to the food they are cooking for customer’s, the food is so tough you can damage your teeth some of the meat is like chewing gum, for the increase of price of the chicken and food in general I should be getting something i don’t have to throw away, also the delivery driver tried ripping me off 5 dollars after already paying the deliver fee but I allowed her to keep extra dollar for herself, after I thought about it when having to throw the meal away how rude and greedy this restaurant is becoming more to be, how unsatisfying.

The food was so DELICIOUS!!!! We went in around 10 and they graciously made us fresh food that was still piping hot when we opened the containers when we got back home. I have been to only one other Chinese restaurant where the rice had bamboo shoots and this rice was worth the price! It was perfectly seasoned and the onions, eggs, and bamboo shoots were all correctly cooked adding to the mirage of flavors in the rice. The chicken is covered completely is sauce and moist in the middle making it pleasant with the sticky white rice. I was nervous going in and ordering but the little lady at the front was nice and helpful when I ordered. The owner came out and answered the phone later on and sounded like a normal restaurant owner. After the guy on the phone rudely ended their conversation she talked to my boyfriend and I very nicely despite what had happened. Overall I would definitely go back.

Worked here for a while, witnessed many bugs chilling on the counters. I started to name them ngl, there was too many and I ran out of names. One time there was a rat and instead of trapping it and throwing it outside they stomped on it and swept it up like it was a pile of dust 🙂 remember that when u eat here. Great food, but next time you eat here ask to yourself “where do they store their food” (ps.. you don’t wanna know the answer to that) hint hint, they store their chicken in an empty bucket on the floor. You don’t want to know the stories the owners have told me about what they do to rude customers food. For your safety and others, do not eat here 🙂 !

The person who took my order was really nice but the food wasn’t great as I remembered it to be. The orange chicken was awful, over cooked and the taste was way off like old molded orange. The vegetable fried rice straight up tasted like vinegar. I will not be going back period.

We moved to Morgantown from the Portland, OR area where we had an amazing go-to Chinese restaurant. Great Wall surpassed our expectations and will be our local place from this point on. Each of us ordered something different and we were all very happy with everything. The standouts were the Egg Rolls, Steamed Dumplings, and Cheese Wantons. I ordered the Sesame Chicken combination; it was by far the best I had ever eaten, including the steamed broccoli garnish and Pork Fried Rice. Though the food was amazing, the highlight of the evening was the amazing service. The staff was extremely helpful and fun. Please don’t let poor reviews steer you past this local gem!
