My fiancé and I were in the mood for Chinese. We have never gotten from Greate Taste Fusion before. We decided to try it to see if it could be our new place. Lots of parking right in front on the green. Very convenient for me to get to. The restaurant was very clean and has a nice ambience inside. I guess normally there would be dine in but due to Covid, there is currently no indoor seating. The person who picked up the phone was very courteous and sweet. It was the same when I arrived to pick up my food. Food was ready so I did not have to wait.

I’m updating my review today, 9/11/22. I first rated them one year ago with five stars. I have been a customer of their since they opened. Their food has consistently been good. Today I decided to go for something different. Pineapple fried rice. O.M.G. It was a-mazing! Chicken, shrimp, pineapple, cashew nuts, peas, carrots, onions, and raisin. It’s now my new addiction!

I ordered online and it was easy. Paid when I got there. They had an itemized receipt for the company to file. I was surprised at how good the food was. It tasted fresh and healthy. I have a sensitive stomach and I will continue ordering large orders for our company meals.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the owner and his wife most sincerely for delivering the order to a school for a student in Washington, Connecticut, where is about 25 minutes drive. Prior, I called quite a few restaurants nearby, none of them was willing to deliver even with extra fee. The food is delicious and the kid is happy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

Saturday night and decided to try some of their dim sum. Friendly staff but the food was not great. Perhaps not fair to compare since we usually have dim sum in Queens. Pork buns, shumai, and pork and chive dumplings. All made well, but not very flavorful.

Placed order for delivery. They said 45 minutes. 1.5hrs later I called. They said it was on its way. Another 20 minutes we waited and finally it arrived (we are a mile away). The food was cold when it did come. The quality was like what you’d find in the frozen section at a grocery store and could make in 10 minutes. It went in the garbage, it was inedible. Never again. We love hanging out. Yesterday we went to this delicious restaurant which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a delightful evening there with excellent cooking and an efficient stuff and an impressive chief cook. We added this restaurant in our list and we shall certainly come back soon. t takes almost 45 minutes to get your food, even after being told it will be 20 minutes, which is twice as long as most Chinese food take-out places. So 45 minutes means they aren’t even going to start making it for some time. There are two people working and the woman at the front is clearly overwhelmed. Why they can’t hire one more person to help them is unclear, but I’m done spending my money here. The food is good, not too greasy. But I would rather give my money to another restaurant who has their act together.
