Great State did not disappoint! First off the quality of the food is top notch! Organic ingredients and burgers made fresh to order sets this burger joint apart from the rest. For those with allergies such as gluten intolerance, they use a dedicated fryer for their mouth watering crinkle cut fries and toast the Hamburger buns on a completely separate grill as the burgers. I ordered my burger lettuce wrapped and it was super filling. Another thing that sets Great State apart from the rest is their soda station. Their soda fountain is by Jones Soda which is superior quality. Our family absolutely loved the food and the service was also exceptional! The staff was very helpful with working with my requests around food allergies and our food came out perfectly cooked in an extremely fast manner. We will definitely be back!!!

For the price and what you get, it wasn’t really worth it to me. The fry sauce was good. The burger was decent at best, with no real flavor or seasoning to make it pop. The frys were cooked well. Jones soda was probably the best thing about the whole experience. Staff were kind and efficient. Save some money and make your own burgers.

This is such a delicious local burger place! I absolutely loved the malt shake I got, the crinkle cut fries were perfect, and our burgers were delicious. All around a fantastic place to eat. There is plenty of outdoor seating and service was fast. It’s definitely worth a stop! I took a picture of their menu because it seems to have been updated recently, so check out my photos for their most recent menu (July 2021). I can’t wait to go back to try their breakfast sandwiches!

This is a FULLY ORGANIC hamburger place, that’s why the price is higher. It is the only burger place that my daughter and I can eat at where our tummy’s feel good after. Besides their great burgers be sure to get fries, shakes and chocolate chip cookies. Enjoy!

Burgers and fries are great here, but the fry pricing feels really high at over $4, making adding a combo with a soda over $6 before the burger. I love that it’s local and the shakes, bacon, etc are organic but confusing the fries aren’t and they’re so pricy. Everything things else feels very fairly priced. Someone mentioned they ordered 3 burger fry and shake combos and it was $80…. which clearly doesn’t add up as it would be under $60 for the 3 meals with tax, so they’re clearly lying about something, weird move. Would definitely recommend this place and location, I hope they put one in Lake City soon, we need it!!

The burger I got… yikes. The bun was so incredibly soggy. Not a good burger at all. would not recommend, do not pass go, don’t collect $100. Fries were ok, milkshake was ok. There is no world in which it was worth what it cost.

Not sure what happened but we ordered four burgers and fries (mostly because we love the crinkle cut) via the toast app and we were served the saddest burgers and the fries weren’t even close to what is advertised on their website and apps and IG. We got flavorless soggy fries that seemed like a dupe for Dick’s bit were three times as expensive and awful. Tried to call, email to no avail to the location (Laurelhurst). Very disappointing experience especially because what is shown isn’t what we got and it was over 60 bucks so…
