This was our first time at Great Lakes! It was so good! We ordered full dinners including egg roll and crab Rangoon. The dipping sauces were fantastic! Beef and broccoli – huge portions and just so good! All the food was HOT and our waitress was super friendly! Highly recommend the fried rice. Definitely will be back!

I went here with my son on a day they were short staffed. I felt terrible for the server she had like seven tables (only server) and people were being rude. The food was not the best, it was ok. My son’s meal had giant pieces of veggies that weren’t even fully cooked. It was kind of weird and everything was different. The eggs rolls were really greasy and it had a smoky flavor?!? It’s not something I would write home to mom about. But, I believe they may have just been swamped. If the food is the way it was the evening we ate there I wouldn’t go back. But again I am not sure if I just went at a bad time. They were so kind and made sure to take good care of my server. If it was just rated on kindness they would have 5 stars. But, food…. not so much.

Chow Mein Noodle side is not Chow mein noodle dish. It’s the fried crisps you add to egg drop soup. Don’t expect to get sweet and sour sauce even if you order crab rangoons, egg rolls, etc. Overall, the food is pretty good. The fried rice is especially delicious.
