July 2023: Back in Eureka and visited the Gravel Bar TWICE today! The Chicken Bacon Ranch Jalapeno flatbread/pizza, Chicken Cordon Bleu flatbread/pizza, garden salad with ***ranch dressing*** and the bar are all YUM. Live music from Magnolia Brown — icing on the cake!

Honeymooning in Eureka Springs, my new Wife and I, after planning our evening at our hotel, showed up with intention of having dinner w/drinks and enjoying the live music, the waitress showed up before, we had the menu downloaded, so we ordered drinks as she promised to return shortly to take our food order, a minute later, she returned with the drinks again promising to return and take our food order, 45 minutes later our drinks were long finished and there is still no sign of our waitress returning, so I went to the bar to locate her and did and she stated that she would be out in a moment to take our order, so I returned to our table and again waited for approximately 40 more minutes, then my bride and I decided to leave and find a place to eat that would take our order. So we approached the bar and asked for our check, as I paid I informed our waitress that we were going to go find something to eat, at which time she became rude telling us that she was not a waitress but the Bar Tender, and we had other avenues in which to order food, that would have been fine if she stated so 90 minutes sooner, and we had not waisted an hour and a half of our evening. So don’t expect much from this place in the way of service. Also upon reading previous negative reviews it appears that the owner of the place would rather blame the customers than address the issues with his staff. Just one more establishment that counts on tourist customers for their income and are not worried about customer service.

When we couldn’t find a place to park downtown, we traveled down the road looking for a place to eat lunch. Still very little parking but we managed. It was perfect for our large group of 11! The food was great and the drinks were strong! My mom and daughter raved about the Margherita pizza and are already talking about making a trip back when this restaurant when we are in Branson next summer!

The veggie nachos were fantastic. The sandwiches were kind of like pizza, shop sandwiches, but that makes sense since this place also has pizza. They were very tasty. The potato salad is incredible. Service was so so.

Great food, great cocktails, beautiful patio! We arrived during a special fundraiser brunch with a limited menu. The staff was very gracious and let us order off the lunch menu even though it was a special request. I will definitely be returning!

A shop owner we talked to in Eureka Springs recommended this bar, and we are so glad he did! The people were so friendly, and the food and drinks were incredible. We could have stayed here all night!

Great vibe, great music, cold drinks at the former Joy Motel. Love what the new owner has done with it! The huge back deck was a perfectly intimate venue for listening to live music from talented regional artists. For dinner we tried some of the flatbread pizzas – I don’t remember which ones, but they were really good! The crowd seemed to be a mix of lodge guests and locals, which was a good sign we picked the right place. Very LGBTQ+ friendly and very pet friendly – the level of inclusivity and getting to pet all the sweet pups on leashes just added to the feeling of community. Will definitely return!
