We arrived hungry for breakfast and left filled up! Hubby ordered the Hungry Man’s Breakfast and I had the eggs with 1/2 biscuits and gravy with bacon. The food was prepared fresh. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere inside is humble and homey. Our favorite item was the biscuits and gravy. The gravy is clearly homemade and has more of a flour-y taste, but is so delicious and creamy. We would return and recommend!

The food was great. Portions were huge. Coleslaw was delicious. Mom and I will be eating there again. Prices were also very good. My country fried steak was cheaper than Bob Evans and larger quantities. Next time hope to try a dessert too. Home cooking!

Arrived for Sunday morning breakfast with my husband and 2 grandchildren. There was one older woman waiting tables and the cook bringing out meals. An older lady who said she used to work there years ago was wiping tables. I get it they were short handed, but we felt like we were an inconvenience. I did not get any coffee refill, my grandson ask for blueberries with his pancakes she wrote it down said nothing . They quickly set the food down and left, I asked when the cook brought out someone’s else’s order about the blueberries, she said they don’t have any. When paying the bill We wanted to be sure the waitress didn’t charge for blueberries. She said “ no I didn’t charge you we don’t have blueberries. “. She knew and said nothing when we ordered. Food was good, so one star, toilet was clogged and hurling up. We felt rushed and very poor service , will not be back

The food was terrible. I order a pork tenderloin watch was pretty good, but got very bland fries that seemed stale and from the iga. I was expecting fresh cut fries. The coleslaw seemed like it was from a container as well. It’s not home style cooking if it’s from a freezer bag! I’m sorry but I can make better food at home for half the cost! For the life if ne, I can not understand the rave, if people want delicious homestyle food it needs to be fresh and prepped not from frozen bags or containers!

Eat here every time we pass through which is often and love it. Walked in today at 10:30am. A very busy waitress greeted us by saying – “if you want any breakfast food at all, I am out of all of it” as she went racing by. Good morning to you also!
