I got the pork chop special with green beans and mashed potatoes. A friend got the chili cheese fries and my wife got a cheese burger on Texas toast. My pork chops were not flavorful and we’re tough enough that I think I could throw them at a wall like a Chinese star. The green beans tasted old and wrong. I tried the chili cheese fries and the chili tasted like taco meat with tomato sauce and the cheese is some sort of can cheese, not even cheese whiz lol. My wife said her burger was okay. There are 3 saving graces of this little joint. 1. The mashed potatoes are REAL and they are pretty darn good. The prices are pretty cheap… ( You get what you pay for) and the back yard look of the eatery. I believe they need to up their game.
