Stopped here while driving through. 10 minutes from St Cloud. Not much to look at from outside. Standard diner fare, but well done. I had chicken dumpling soup and grilled cheese. Soup was very good. Wife had the pork commercial on Texas toast. Also very good. Gravy tasty without being overly salty. Strawberry rhubarb pie also good. Would definitely go back.

We had a large family birthday brunch. They provided a separate room and service was great. Food was hot and fresh. Access was easy.

Whenever our family visits central Minnesota, we never pass up an opportunity to stop by The Granite Edge Cafe in Rockville. It’s a cute little cafe that never fails to satisfy our family (and our picky eater little ones). The portions are always over the top (makes for a great mid-night snack later) and service is fast without being pushy. Prices are very reasonable. Our kids can easily split a meal but we usually end up ordering one for everyone, since we want to try everything. Love their soup (especially chili!). After a long day on the lake, after visiting Eagle Park, or driving the country roads in the area, this is a great low-key stop. Since Hwy. 23 was rerouted around Rockville, the town has gotten sleepier and this makes for a quaint stop. A must-visit! Kate and George keep an atlas/book of visitors and they’d love to have you mark where you’re from!

What a cute place!! The waitress here was so friendly and fun, they have a log book of where all the visitors are from you can sign. Super yummy big pancakes with strawberry and perfect hashbrowns. Great prices too, I’d come back all the time if I lived here!

I’ve worked here for over a year now. Best job I have ever had, and food is even better! Family owned cafe, and they are there usually everyday from 6:30-1. They try and come talk to every customer who walks through our doors. No one ever leaves without a smile and full belly ☺
