After watching the phantom gourmet I was intrigued in trying this garlic knot pizza. I was so excited I drove up from reading, Ma to Salem, NH. A 45 minute wait for the pizza. But I said hey why not? The girls at the register were very nice and their pizza display looked amazing. But I knew something was off, when I had pulled into the place my boyfriend stepped in a huge pile of vomit. It was almost right outside their door. Then the pizza I ordered a large cheese garlic knot pizza. The box was heavy and I was so excited. Once home however the pizza was not phantom gourmet ready. There were huge globs of garlic on the crust I’ve seen a better garlic crust at dominos. For the price I paid I was expecting better. Perhaps today was just an off day for them. But I will not be returning nor wasting that much money again. ($23 with tax $25.99) I expected more from a restaurant on phantom gourmet especially with the time I had to wait for that pizza…

A nice find. Usually pretty busy, but we order takeout. Pizza , calzone, garlic knots, fries with cheese and bacon are all quite good. Chef salad is okay. We’ve become regulars.

Terrible. Terrible service, for below average food! We spent almost $200 for a family of 6! Waited almost an hour for the food as we sat there with 4 little kids and waited patiently! When we asked the waitress who tried to bring us a 2nd pepperoni pizza we didn’t order where the rest of the order was, ie chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks & wings she said “that’s another part of the kitchen” and walked away. No sorry, nothing. The pizza was so completely greasy under the crust and the fries were super dark and mushy. Their “dry rub” wings were not dry at all. They had a coating super thick on them. Super disappointed with the food, but mostly disappointed with the service!

This place was a great find. I was surprised at how busy they were on a Monday night. The French fries were really good but the star was the pizza. Real, fresh, huge slices of yummy cheesy pizza. Even heated up the next day this pizza was yum!

After reading many positive reviews and seeing the pictures of the garlic knot pizza, it was time to try it. For the amount paid with taxes $52 for both, (one large and one medium) I am unimpressed. The bottom of both pizzas were quite black and soggy. (I’m wondering if adding the extra cheese made the pizza too heavy and not able to crisp up). The crust was pretty tasty but some parts were over cooked. I am likely not going to return because it’s very expensive. However, I can see how people really like this pizza when it’s cooked evenly and not overloaded with toppings.

Ordering from a counter and finding a seat seems a little fast foodish and doesn’t match their quality. The garlic knot spinach artichoke pizza was delicious as was the prosciutto pie. Both having a nicely crisp crust and cooked perfectly. The garlic and cinnamon knots were outstanding as well. Order came out a little staggered with one pizza coming out and then about 7 minutes later the next. No one is taking your order from a table, asking how your meal was, or asking if you want a box unless you go up to the counter. Kind of cafeteria style.with numbers on your table and tastier food. Couldn’t imagine finding a seat in here on a busy night because it was pretty steady at lunch time on a Saturday.

Excellent place. Always busy. Got the Garlic Knot Pizza. It was fantastic. Lots and lots of garlic. You order at the counter and they give you a number and bring your food to the table when it’s ready.

My wife and I were in Salem for something else, and was looking for a place to eat, and we came across Granfanallys. We had one of their signature pizzas and their onion ring french fry combo. The food was spot on, can’t wait to go back. Wish they were up in Manchester too. while we are not drinkers, it looks like they have a great selection of beers. The staff is friendly and helpful.

If price is important ask before you order. My meal was $2 more than the menu price ($14.95 instead of $12.95). When I questioned it, the manager stated (with attitude) that the menu prices subject to change. He also said new menus were on order but I found another review from May 2022 with the exact pricing issue
