We had 3 people dining it was about 730pm. We were the only customers in the store. We had to wait for a cool minute before help arrived we had chicken fried steak the meat was pink the taters were barley warm and a ton of pepper was used on everything . It took about ten minutes before we got our food. My son went to the front to ask if we could get more dinner rolls there was nobody there he waited and waited nobody came so he yelled hello several times he finally broke out with a full-fledged screem is anybody working here the lady come up so I’m sorry we were in the storeroom. They finally came and he asked for the bread they gave him a paper plate with four rolls on it and they didn’t look good they were smashed they

I like Grandys, but sometimes this place bothers my soul. Most of the time, the order has been made incorrectly. Then there are times when they make it right, and they put the plastic ware on the food and close the lid and then bag it.

Home cooking—without the dishes! The chicken nuggets are almost chicken tenders, they’re so large. Very tender. Okra, yummmmm! We got ours takeout, so no rating for atmosphere.

Third time since opening, first time country fried steak was freezer burnt to the point it was like leather covered in gravy, second video was good, third visit chicken fried chicken in was freezer burnt not quite as tough as leather but was hard to chew and a double country fried steak bottom steak was freezer burnt and I do believe it was on bottom for a reason. Definitely lost my taste for Grandys. I’m sure the staff would not eat what I had to pay for.

The environment upon entering was anything but peaceful and welcoming. They looked at us with disdain, and their tones and sideways glances were were filled with mockery. One young lady even looked at us as if we were dogs or unwanted pest. No matter how good the food may be, the service has the capability to spoil the hole meal. On this particular afternoon they had the nerve laugh and make fun of another employee because she walked off the job due to employee harassment. People so I have to handle that.

A little disappointed with this visit. After I ordered and paid, I was told they didn’t have any chicken breast for my meal. Apparently the cook quit from what i was told.. ???? They substituted with chicken fried chicken which was ok. The cashier was really nice about it. She can only do what so much. Maybe next…..

We bought four to go orders very simple orders, and when we got home only one out of the four were correct two of them were supposed to be chicken and they were beef and had gravy all of them which they were supposed to have in one of them was supposed to be the chicken nuggets with corn and gravy and mashed potatoes. We are supposed to have two orders like that. Will guess what the second one wasn’t at all like that it had green beans it had okra in it that’s not what we ordered. We like grandes but we don’t like coming home with the wrong food.
