Hottest day of the year, but the pink lemonade was perfect, the cheeseburger all the way was amazing! Fries were crispy! The owner was super friendly. The restaurant was clean! Will definitely go again when Mothernature decides to play fair. Chicken wings were massive! Trying those next time!

I’ve been here three times and ordered (and love) the fried chicken, it is always hot and flavorful. I’ve tried the cabbage, collards, and mac and cheese as sides and all have had great flavor, and again come out hot. The wait time can be longer than expected, but its worth the wait.

Best food I have eaten ina long time, fish, oxtails, chicken gizzards , okra, onion rings, slaw,. This food is non greasy, seasoned just right, Very delicious. I am named food that I have eaten and my family, also ice cream, red velvet cake. I have been to many restaurants, including Las Vegas also, they can’t touch this restaurant. This man is a certified chef from Miami Florida. He is not even cooking the real gems of dishes yet, and he is using his Grandma secret recipes for seasoning food. You guys in Fairmont NC is blessed. Yes he is renting place. So he is doing best he can to fix it up. I come for food, and I trust his judgment on that. I can’t wait to visit it again, best food on east coast!!❤️ This place has a ex large tents with tables chairs, heat, and etc so you can dine and eat your food also, also I heard delivery.

This could be a really nice place if a little more attention is payed getting the orders out. No utensils to eat with no cocktail sauce for my shrimp and 1 napkin. I try to support local businesses but if that’s how I’m going to be treated I think I will just drive to another place. Went back 8/8 and the food and service was awesome. The owner said a few comforting words and proceeded to give great service. Thank you
