The place has a vibe like you are visiting a family member rather than a restaurant, you can tell in the flavor that the food was made with love and detail, a little piece of Korea in Houston I would say. Definitely coming back for more of this home warming amazing meal

Note, the food is delicious. The loss of one star is because of the outdated inside and it “dive looking” exterior.

My first visit to a Korean restaurant. I was the only non Asian person there. So I knew I was in the right place. The food is delicious. I was shown how to serve my noodles. Side dishes were worth the trip. I ordered seafood noodles. Enjoyed every bite.

Me and my wife decided to come here randomly, and we were very glad we did. The food is very very good, and some of the side dishes are some of the best we’ve found in Houston. The pickled radish was particularly good.

The food tasted like authentic home-cooked Korean meal. I’m from Los Angeles where I have eaten in Koreatown and the Handmade dumpling rice cake soup tasted so much better! The seafood hotpot was spicy and tasty. Banchan (4) plus kimchi were freshly made. Seafood pancake a must! Overall experience was excellent! Limited parking though, and decor needs upgrading but service was very good as my daughter who was with me speaks Korean. The menu has pictures and numbered so even if you don’t speak Korean you can order food.

I loved this restaurant exactly as it is. It’s a little hole in the wall. Little auntie making dumplings when you walk in, well loved peace lilies and other large plants, no music, no alcohol (but it’s byob with receipt and we overheard another table thinking about walking to the gas station to grab a couple of beers). Cute auntie came by a couple of times to check in on us though the restaurant started getting busy and told us in broken English what foods to try to finish because it wouldn’t reheat well. The food was good and I took home the side dishes (I don’t always) and it all tastes homemade in the best way. I felt nourished in my soul. If you think about eating lunch with your cute Korean auntie, isn’t it the same way? No music, lots of plants, auntie fussing over you, go home with lots of food. I don’t want it to change.

Amazing restaurant. The prices were great and the food was very filling. I’ve always gone by the rule of thumb that you can judge a Korean restaurant by the kimchi. The kimchi was super tasty and so was the food. Honestly the seafood pancake could easily feed two people by its self. Highly recommend

Needed a new place for lunch and was craving Korean food. I got the jajangmyeon and some of the mandu and everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were enormous and easily could feed two people (I’m having the leftovers for dinner. YUM)

Food and service were superb! I was craving jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) really bad and wanted to try out a new restaurant. The jajangmyeon was on the soupier side but I enjoyed eating the leftover sauce with rice. The potato pancake was seasoned well and the sauce served with it was delicious. All the side dishes were tasty and definitely made in house. Grandma was really sweet and refilled our side dishes and even boxed up my food to go. This place is so homey, both with their food and service- it felt like eating at your grandparents house. I’ll definitely be coming back!
