I havent been there since the 6th grade in the early 90s but man, was this the FANCY place to be back then. the prime rib was legendary. we had a rehearsal diner there for 2 seperate weddings in and around 1996 and it was top notch, FINE dining . classy, and fancy fancy FANCY!!! And the food was SO good. wow I forgot how good this place was until I just now typed this. I highly recommend it and now want to go back again. love it

I randomly wondered into this restaurant and got a table. It was obvious I had never been there before so the owner Joe came to my table, shook my hand, and thanked me for coming in. This is something I’d only expect from a restaurant with a quadrupled price point… next my server Jules delivers a menu and list of specials. The Sunday specials were an entire page and the prices almost to good to be true. Jules answered all of my menu questions with ease and grace. I got the “Italian Platter” meatballs, chicken parm, Alfredo and soup or salad. (I got the soup but added a salad for a small upcharge) It was 3 plates large plus soup and absolutely delicious! Even the other guests were awesome. I ended up talking with the table next to mine about food, travel and culture. (Shout out to Bob & Deb). This also says a lot about the overall vibe of this place. Everyone is happy, friendly and happy to be there. Lastly, as good as I am trying to make this review it doesn’t do my experience or meal justice. Don’t let the unassuming facade or rustic interior fool you either.. this place is world class and could match any eatery in any major city. If you’re not from the area, that’s ok… make the drive out, it’s totally worth it. Huge thanks to Joe and Jules.

Waited half hour for side salad, just ordered a meatball hoagie OMG! WORST EVER!The bread was so hard was unediable the meatballs you could tell were freezer burnt dried out there was no sauce for $16.00meatballs should be edibleI didn’t order anything else because they were all done eating by the time she got back to out table ate a tv dinner at home as for the side salad it was croutons and 1 cherry tomatoe ! What a joke!

Met for a family gathering on a Saturday afternoon, 25 people seated. 7 items on the menu. Took 45 mins for the food to arrive. Food was cold on several dishes. I could understand the wait, but there was only 4 other tables being occupied at the same time. No information on long it would take to get served, and no apologies on the wait. Very disappointe..

Was there for a reception and Grand Valley Inn was awesome place to have a party with great staff and wonderful service, oh and the food speculator!
