The best and most affordable skewers we’ve ever had. We always come to this cart whenever we visit NY. We discovered this gem back in 2019 and has been coming back to get skewers from the couple every time we’re in NY. Do yourself a favor and find this cart. You won’t regret it!

We got a banquet of skewers! At this street skewer cart we got the Spicy mushroom, spicy chicken, spicy shrimp, regular mushroom, pork and lamb! Amazingly cheap and delicious on the go skewers. When you ask for spicy you get that nice kick but not too spicy. Perfect with the shrimp which was one of our favorites. All the meats like the chicken, pork and lamb were all juicy. The mushroom was a hidden gem of a wow flavors ! No wonder why people line up. Coming back for more.

Not so easy to spot but this place serves up some great cheap treats. I had the squid stick despite my reservations about seafood from a stall, but honestly it was incredible and soooo cheap, at only $2.50 for mine at the time.

Great bbq skewers! The flavor is really authentic, just like the skewers I had back in northern China from a decade ago. The price was also very reasonable. My favorites are the lamb screwers (with just cumin, no spicy pepper) and beef tendons. The tendons were especially good, and were not tough.

Great skewer cart open very late and cheap ($2 per skewer). Recommend the lamb skewer and chicken gizzard.

the small grill cart is parked on Grand Street, near the corner intersection with Christie Street. the whisks of smoke and flames from the coal grill can be seen and smelled as you approach. the small skewer cart is run by a older couple—one takes your order and the other runs the grill and makes sure those savory skewers don’t burn. there’s typically a small line whether it be day or night. the cart is open from 5pm to 1 am. the cart is not open on rainy days or nights. cash only, skewers run from $2-$3 each

If you are looking for something unique and delicious stop here. Not only are the skewers cheap but they are absolutely delicious. Try the scallions wrapped in bacon was the best item we tried. Will be back 12/10

You would never think it by passing, but some of the tastiest street meat I’ve ever had. I got the shrimp and fish, and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned, a little charred w/ a smoky bbq flavor and the perfect amount of spice. I was honestly taken aback by how good it was. Perfect grab-n-go food.

Super unsanitary, extremely rude, and terrible place overall. If you go to this cart, you can see that the food is kept in some dingy coolers which I’ve seen bugs crawl into, and they aren’t even trying to hide it. There’s a huge crowd that blocks up the sidewalk and litter is everywhere, and the smoke is just terrible for everyone. They don’t seem to care about running a business at all. Terrible, and I highly do not recommend this place.
