I was staying at the Chester County Hospital & my mom ordered me breakfast to be delivered, it’s not legal for them to bring the food up so they have to send one of my nurses down to get it for me. Once the food was delivered, I was told, BUT they LEFT IT OUTSIDE IN 57° WEATHER! Not in a nice warm lobby. So, of course by the time ⏲️ they got it for me – the food was cold! And THE ONLY THING I LIKED was the pasta salad ((hence bc it’s supposed to be cold!)) The bacon was burnt, and the cream chipped beef – I don’t even wanna get into.. needless to say eating Hospital food for weeks and FINALLY I get some REAL FOOD and was just super disappointed…

This diner is exactly what you should expect. The food is cooked well and staff is attentive and friendly. The food is aimed at an older crowd (the folks who think pepper is spicy). It’s basic breakfast food with nothing crazy. It’s not bland, but it’s a safe place to take your parents or grandparents. If you’re a young person looking for something unique or wild, go join a 30 wait list somewhere else. If you want decent food with no wait, come on down.

I wanted to like this place but the food was mediocre, a bit pricey and the service wasn’t great. My boyfriend and I also got sick hours after eating…he got an open meatloaf sandwich and I got a broiled seafood platter. It was odd that we were the only people there for lunch but makes sense now. Not worth going back. I do not recommend.

Food was mediocre at best. Service was poor. When we first entered the restaurant, 4 different employees tried to seat us. After we were seated, it was at least 10 minutes before we were given menus. We had to ask for them. Once we were finally given menus, it was another 10 minutes before anyone checked in again. I believe there were only people at 4 other tables in the entire place. Despite how few people were there, it appeared that one waitress was working while three other waiters were wondering around aimlessly. Very little water pressure in bathroom sinks.

We were disappointed. The service was bad. The food was mediocre to bad. First. the coffee was weak and bitter tasting. I thought maybe we got a bad batch, but my refill was from a fresh brewed pot and it was the same. I ordered simple scrambled eggs with home fries, wheat toast and a side of corned beef hash. My wife had a veggie omelet and a belgian waffle with powdered sugar. When the food came out, my eggs and hash browns were cool to luke warm. My corned beef hash was hot and the best part of my meal. I guess the cook finsihed my eggs and potatoes and let them sit out while he cooked the rest of the food. I asked for yellow mustand. The waitress gave me a plastic bottle that was just about empty. She told me I should be able to get some out of it. I was startled that a server would do that, basically saying get what you can out of it, I am not getting you a full bottle. My wife’s veggie omelet had potatoes in it. That was not expected, but not bad. We each took a quarter of the waffle that came out without the powdered sugar that was asked for. The waffle had a strange bitter undertaste. We could not finish it. I am not sure why the other ratings are so good. We won’t be returning to a place that can’t even get coffee right.

Ordered a Chicken cheesesteak and what I got was a soggy roll with VERY LITTLE chicken but TONS of onions. It was more like an onion sandwich. Nasty. Won’t be back.
