I think our waitress was the only one working the floor. I believe she did the best she could under these circumstances. Very sweet and respectful. Very slow service. Would have been nice for the manager or two other staff members hanging in the back to help out a little bit more with the customer needs in the restaurant. We were told the cook was overwhelmed but it wasn’t even busy when we got there. Salad bar was basic but available. Shared restrooms are available between restaurant and conjoined gas station.

Such great service and about as close to a home cooked meal that a driver can get on the road. The meatloaf was to die for. In fact it’s so good if I was on death row I would want it for my last meal. Please do your stomach a favor and stop on in. Your stomach and wallet won’t be disappointed

This was my first time here (my husband has been here a few times) and you definitely get your money worth. We chose the cheese balls for appetizer and they were delicious. They had a great pull to them. The ranch was a little thin but it was still good. I had the brisket dinner and my husband had the pulled pork dinner. You get your choice of potato, so I had the loaded baked potato and my husband got the parmesan garlic mashed. They also came with baked beans, coleslaw, and cornbread. The baked beans were cold. The bbq sauce was pretty good. The coleslaw was very good and creamy, the cornbread was sweet. The baked potato comes with butter and sour cream on the side but comes with cheese, bacon, and onions on it. The brisket was absolutely phenomenal. It was thin sliced (which you don’t see often) and crisped around the edges so it’s like getting burnt ends with every bite. The pulled pork was moist and very flavorful. The service was good. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. I definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking to get miserable on good food.

Cozy place and buffet was good comfort food and tasted flavorful and lots of choices- two choices of eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fried chicken, ham, abundant salad bar with all the other pasta salads and the most amazing cinnamon rolls that seemed to be all butter n sugar that two bites were enough for me! Food was fresh and by 11 am the line/wait was pretty long but no one seemed to mind.

Server was good, you could tell she was new she had to go ask what was in multiple entrees, but very nice. Food was good and price was good too. The only problem was a server that sat 2 tables away rolling silverware yelling to the other servers about her table that was still here because she wanted to leave and how she gave her tables the hint to leave by sweeping there feet. She proceeded to yell to other servers to bring her energy drink and a towel because she told boyfriend she was supposed to be off already. The yelling back and forth made the experience less enjoyable.

The pulled pork dinner is both generous and tasty. I like my pulled pork on the dry side – so this was perfect for my taste. If you like yours juicy, you should consider another item on their diverse menu. The BBQ sauce was as good as the pork. I got it with a baked potato – with the cornbread, beans, and slaw, it was too much to put away. I also got a glass of iced tea. It was fresh brewed and served in a large jar. I was thirsty, so that went down nicely. Service is friendly. Note this is not a fast food joint, so only eat here if you’re not in a hurry. I’ll be sure to stop in again whenever I pass through Watertown.
