After spending all day on the beach it’s nice to know that Gracie’s Bar and Grill is there when you want something other than “ beach food”. The owner is the best and her staff is so friendly. The food and staff are amazing. Staff and customers are of all shapes and sizes so the two reviews I read about hiring practice are pathetic. If your friend didn’t get a job it’s because they didn’t feel they fit the team. Privately owned businesses get to pick her staff and that doesn’t mean they discriminate, it means your friend doesn’t get a participation trophy. Pop in and visit for yourself you won’t be disappointed.

My fiance and I went to eat there and was 100% disappointed. She got prime rib that was gross, she took 3 bites and said this isn’t prime rib, gave me a bite and it totally tasted like roast beef. Potatoes were cold, corn not an inkling of heat. I got grilled chicken sandwich w/ onion rings. Sandwich was good but the O.R.s were like crust leftovers in the basket..

This place refused to hire a family friend because “We don’t hire fat and old people”, the family friend is in her early 40s, a healthy weight, and very pretty. This is discrimination and I’m absolutely disgusted with this place. I’d give zero stars if I could.

The owner here wont hire based on weight and age. So, in other words, don’t apply here for a bartender position if you are fat and old. Fat and old to them is an average weight person in early 40’s. The owner was not shy about saying this. What a terrible place. Can you imagine how they judge their customers?Discrimination for any reason is not acceptable and also not legal!

The Food was okay. Service was horrible. Waitress took forever. The busser took my water for a refill never to return. Saw her a bunch of times. Ordered the captains plate. Was notified 15 min after ordering there weren’t any fried clams. The fries were missing. Asked for tarter sauce, never came. Drinks were good, in fact great. For the price of $57, was not worth it. My friend is a good person, my suggestion of just bailing on the check was refused. So if I ever come back to Salisbury beach. I will try another venue. Thanks but no.
