We went for Brakefast on Mother’s Day morning. Knowing in advance it would be busy. The person taking our order was very nice and friendly.

Finally posting about their food because something needs to happen or I just shouldn’t get food there anymore.

We ordered $50 brunch total for 2 people. And it was so bad. Meat smelled really funky our sweet potatoes and wedge potatoes were completely burned out. The sun rise mimosa was super sweet with no tequila in it very interesting. I’m not even sure what we paid for super disappointed.

I came in right around lunch time and it was quite busy and packed. Yet the staff were very friendly and worked their tails off to get the food and drinks out as quickly as they could, even with several rude and impatience customers. So to the staff of Grace Coffee- you guys did a great job! I’ll definitely come back again!

One of the most beautiful coffee shops in Madison, WI! Grace Coffee does a wonderful job of creating an inviting and an artistic environment for its patrons.

Never got our food, our friends came with us and ordered after us, got their food finished it, while we still waited for ours, at that point my 5 year old is starving so I told him we’d go to McDonald’s so I asked for a refund, and they refunded the hot items that they never made. Not even the whole order, lol enjoy your Diet Coke with no food. They brought the sandwich anyways since “otherwise they’d toss it” and said they’d bring his chicken tenders in a minute when it’s ready, this is 45 minutes after ordering, and it never came.

I was surprised at the portion of food you get for the price. It was quite generous and very delicious!! Their pastries are also well portioned and amazing. The space is huge with free wifi so you can do your work here. Good spot for lunch if you feel like Epic’s meals aren’t enough.

I have been going to Grace since it opened. It was one of my only consistent points of human socialization through the drive through while we quarantined for years. I’ve gotten to know several of the employees such as Brittany and Eden and then Katie. They are so friendly and make an effort to remember you and your order (if you tend to order the same thing often like me) and your family (if you bring them along with you). I always feel welcome and I look forward to seeing my barista friends and getting my “usual” which is always delicious. ^_^ Somehow they know how to get my latte with almond milk perfectly frothy and it’s so yummy. ❤️ I highly recommend Grace which has quickly become a staple with my family.

I really wanted to rate this place highly. The coffee is excellent…tasty, rich and expertly prepared. However, the food is atrocious. The grilled cheese sandwich used too-thick bread, one measly slice of cheese and no salt/pepper/tomato/flavor. I made better grilled cheese in elementary school. The shrimp quesadilla was bland and the caprese sandwich was made with dry focaccia and not enough glaze and bland pesto. If the owner reads this, I am happy to come in and advise on how to improve these poor sandwiches. The excellent coffee deserves a solid sandwich complement.

Three simple food orders within three weeks all done incorrectly. The first two were via the app, which should have been an easy read. This time we tried a quick drive-thru trip while nearby. This turned into a twenty minute wait and the simple sandwich order was wrong (also sans utensils/napkins). Went inside to request a new one, but instead of a replacement, an employee merely used their fingers to pick off the requested no lettuce. While I appreciate the refund, a quick drive-thru order ended up taking almost an hour to order, receive, “correct” and refund. We love supporting local businesses but Starbucks got our money after this.
