Me and my boyfriend came here cause we saw the variety on their menu. We did eat on a Monday, so I wanted to check if they planned on closing or if it was slow. The gentleman on the other end who I believe later served us was kind and told us to come on in. Very clean and tidy, with cute decor. You must go to the counter to order (and there is a menu listed up top) but he gave us individual menus and we picked a seat to look over everything. We ended with the Chicken Yakisoba noodles to split, the 911 roll, the spicy tuna roll, and the cream cheese wontons. With two drinks it came out to $45 and some change, but I completely think it was worth the splurge. The food arrived quickly and hot. We could’ve easily been full splitting the entree and one appetizer!!! But it was so good. Would love to come back since I’m not local to the area.

If you have that favorite Hibatchi food truck but don’t wanna eat outside and wish there was a little bit more options other than gyoza or spring rolls, go here. Also, phenomenal prices for what you get. I recommend getting take out simply because the atmosphere is lacking still and the plumbing in the bathroom was such a nightmare I went to the mens thinking it would be better, and yet another clogged situation I needn’t get into. It’s an oldish building and these guys JUST opened so the kinks will be ironed out soon enough I am sure of it. The staff was awesome and friendly, and as far as JUST opening, I’m sure over time the atmosphere will have more to it than a few pictures on the wall and some flags. I will say, if you dare to venture to the bathrooms, you have to enter a hallway through a door and the flag likes to pop ya in the face, just be prepared. As far as the food, because that’s majority of the reason I go out in the first place (some of the tastiest places are holes in the wall), the food was really good and flavorful. I got the yakisoba even though the Hibatchi being cooked in eyes view behind the counter was tempting. I am so happy I got the yakisoba though- it was delicious and had many flavor profiles that I almost didn’t put any yum yum sauce on it (I admit I’m a sucker for condiments). Being excited to try something new I had to try the steamed bun which the best part is- you get two fat and stuffed buns for $6.50! They may have been my favorite part of the meal- it had such tender, juicy braised pork inside it, it reminded me of pork belly and was really delicious. The sushi rolls (spicy crab and spicy tuna) were very affordable- $6.99- and it was exactly what I expected and I loved the size and flavor regardless. The spring rolls and egg rolls were about the same as anywhere but still good and I appreciated the yum yum sauce for a different dipper I never try with those typically. Now, I will say, I had to try the takoyaki (fried squid bites with dried fish flakes on top) because of all the hype I see on my Netflix shows, and it just wasn’t my jam unfortunately. It’s a texture and taste thing, but I’m sure it’s my palate. I mean, as an Arkansas country girl nicknamed possum I wasn’t exactly raised on deep fried balls full of squid. That being said, I would definitely go back here and order again. The prices were great, the menu is really impressive with ramen bowls and stir fries, and everything I ordered was really flavorful (aside from my one curious appetizer adventure). Give these guys a try. I was told they lost their business in the recent Little Rock tornado and so this might also be why the atmosphere wasn’t quite popping yet, all in all, the food was. ☺️

First time eating here and fell in love. We ordered brothless shrimp tempura ramen, braised pork ramen, and chicken fried rice. Nothing disappointed.

Best shrimp tempura we’ve ever had and just perfect yakisoba. Got the crab rangoons and chicken egg rolls and were really impressed on those too. Not even a big fan off egg rolls but these were great with everything inside well mixed.

Great little Japanese restaurant. Not fancy, so dress casual and order before you sit. All of it is full of flavors and the staff are really friendly.

They have a few vegetarian options. You order at the front, then seat yourself. They have a little tweaking to do, but I think they’ll be a great place to stop and eat or get takeout on the way home from school or work
