Two personal pizza part of the clean plate club. We had: veggie with pepperoni and a meat lovers pizza. Both immaculate with taste and texture. The service was amazing very nice and communicated very well. Will be coming back to my childhood eatery. I’m glad we have this unique place in Asheboro, definitely a gem.

The pizza was disappointing. This wasn’t a fresh pie, it was sold by the slice. Therefore, I added an extra star. Some of the toppings simply fell off when I picked up the slice. The slice definitely had potential as the ingredients seemed to be of excellent quality. This slice, however, just lacked some love, cheese and the magic that makes one say, “Mmmmm.”

Spent $50 on two large pizzas with extra sauce and cheese and a salad. They charge for extra sauce. When I got home it practically had no sauce on it. They gave me a replacement pizza and same issue. Don’t waste your time and money, you’ll be disappointed for sure.

We moved to NC from NY and will gladly drive for 30min from our town to pick up this pizza. We have tried many pizza places around but were hugely disappointed. Gorilla pizza tastes just like NY pie, and I highly recommend it. Plenty of bubbles and craters in the pie, perfect sauce and cheese amount, and no matter what topping you like on yours, you will love it. I will say that this is a gem of a spot!
