Gordito’s Rust Belt Tacos & Tortas Menu – Fishers, IN

Type : Taco restaurant

Location : Fishers, IN

We come from the “rust belt”, where generations and generations of different people have come to work in our factories, mines, and fields in order to earn a better life. Our people have come home, or been sent to work, with a great meal prepared by loving hands meant to fill bellies and nourish the soul. We aim to create rib-sticking meals within the culinary traditions of Latin America which have created a strong presence in the Midwest, but with the pride of being where we are from, the Rust Belt.

Good vibes overall, in a new walkable development with lots of bars, breweries, and restaurants to choose from. Would definitely come back to the area.

I absolutely loooooove there tacos. My favorite are their standard beef brisket tacos. My husband always gets their chicken tacos. We occasionally try their taco of the month. Sometimes it is great other times I prefer the beef brisket to it. We like getting their chips and salsa and add on the peach one. It is very spicy but so good. We normally eat there but have gotten them to go before too. Both very good. Never have had them delivered though

Coming from a life time linemen and heavy weight wrestler this food is a true gem. I got the tacos and to say the least they were as close to perfect as you can get. The tortillas were crunchy and freshly made. When biting into the tacos I went to a place far beyond this earth. To describe the feeling a word that comes to mind is majestical. As far as the chips and salsa go they were easily the best I have had. The orange sauce and peach sauce are true masterpieces. To top off this perfect food the service was amazing. I got my food fast and had a great conversation with the owner after eating. If you are looking for the best grub in town this is the spot.

Some of the best tacos in the area. The brisket tacos dipped in the consomme are absolutely delicious. The esquites are also a top recommendation as well. If you’re craving a really juicy and savory taco, not necessarily a traditional taco, I’d highly recommend this place.

They were set up by 16th and The Monon and I was making a late night trip to Kroger. Stopped by right before close and they willingly served me. I work retail so I know how tough that is when trying to close. Tacos were Great food and great service. They earned a customer or two from my experience.

We used Gorditos for our daughter’s high school grad open house and couldn’t have been happier. The food is delicious, the guys are awesome and accommodating and convenience was also key for us for this event. No clean up for us! Great job!!

Somewhat hidden within the building with Fishers Test Kitchen and the Sun King Brewery, among other food offerings. Have enjoyed the chicken, pork, and brisket tacos as well as the pork torta. All superbly delicious. The consumé is awesome to dip into but great just on its own…like a soup. I also liked the escabeche slaw, it’s very refreshing.

Gordito’s is amazing – the food is always fresh, flavorful and different than anything else Indianapolis has to offer. I’ve tried (almost) everything on the menu and it’s all incredible. Highly recommend – you won’t be disappointed!

The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was more like a food court but I will be going back for sure
