This place has really good food but I’m not sure if that can overcome the negative aspects. The restaurant looks like the couldn’t decide which direction to go. There are many dining tables but a dive bar in one corner and a random pool table in the middle. When you walk in you don’t know if you’re going to be seated or pick a spot on your own. The gorditas are wonderful, the flour is way better than the corn. The Asada fries are outstanding. Fries hold their own and don’t get soggy. No fountain drinks. Cans or bottles. Place is hidden behind a giant tree, parking lot has a lot of pot holes too.

We came here looking for Gorditas de harina(flour) and found them the place is open since early and they have a variety of fillings for your Gorditas,as well as tacos, menudo, etc. my husband tried the menudo but didn’t quite like it, it was made slightly different, like it was so spicy that it lost its true flavor. The Gorditas were fine but the cheese wasn’t melted it was just sliced with peppers and my Jamaica drink was not fresh. Overall the food is good maybe we e are just used to a different touch of Mexican food.

Came in today, August 5th, to buy 6 gorditas, one torta, and 4 drinks. Sadly, two of the “gorditas” had a “piece of hair” in them. I approached the young lady taking the orders very quietly so that the clientele there didn’t hear my complaint and she turned around and mentioned the situation to the kitchen staff. Another young lady came out and spoke to me about it in a very nice way and asked what I wanted to have done, I said, “Can you please refund me the money for those two food items’? My 10-year-old son does not want to eat again, and she agreed. The young gal taking the orders came back to assist, and I asked if she needed my debit card and noticed then how her attitude completely changed she totally ignored my question and seemed very upset.

Sucks to say that the Gorditas I tried from here were not good at all. My asada one was not tasty and was very dry, my chicharron one was very soggy and tasteless. Very nice staff but my food was absolutely disappointing.

I discovered this place by accident and I cannot tell you how good of an accident this place is!! The Gorditas are the best I’ve ever tried!. My favorite is the barbacoa, the meat is flavorful and tender not a piece of fat was found in it. If you ever want to eat flour Gorditas, please give this place a chance, you won’t be disappointed!

I love real authentic Gorditas And this place is right up that avenue. Have I had better, of course. But I’m from Chicago and we’re a little spoiled when it comes to food. This place has had one of the best gorditas I’ve had in Denver. Service can be better but I’m there mostly for the Gorditas which were ! Salsa, meat, everything. Can’t wait to go back
