They have excellent pozole, and their tacos and gorditas are made with fresh masa, not stir bought. I enjoy going every time.

Hit the spot ! Especially in the weather we’ve had lately. Called ahead as we were 15 people and they were nothing but nice and attentive ❤️ made sure we had everything we needed and took our orders right away. Definitely will be returning! My family loved the food! Highlights were the posole, barbacoa, biscuits and their oatmeal.

Food was really good. The homemade salsa was really good. Service was great and prices are very reasonable. The owner eats here so it must be good, and it was.

Add 3 drops of “Chile en aceite”, that’s the secret.

I love this restaurant. The service is great. The food is just so good. It’s really clean in there too. I just have one critisism about it. The sweet tea there is close to 3 dollars and u don’t even get refills. Now u might think this is really great home brewed sweet tea. But it’s not. 8/. In fact. It’s the powder sweet tea. I’ll just stick with the water thanks very much. But still! I keep going back for the amazing fresh home cooked food.

The food taste good, but the portion size is not satisfying and that’s what makes it to pricey. But if quantity is not a big deal to y’all but quality yes then this is a good place to go to, but as for me never again. I think quantity and quality together is very important.

I used to love this place despite it being small and not having enough tables. This is the second time that it’s a miss on several levels. First off my menudo bowl only had like 10 pieces of meat in it and was lacking flavor. It took a long time to get our food. There was a roach crawling on the floor, wall and one even crawled on the table . Needless to say we won’t be going back ever. No wonder this place is constantly getting demerits.

I’ve only had Doña Tota gorditas and when I came across this restaurant I had high expectations for their gorditas. But was very dissatisfied with the taste. The gordita itself tasted like eggs, which I despise. I didn’t eat it all. My child’s bean and cheese tacos were hard all though it was supposed to be a soft taco. Service was good as our waitress was attentive. But overall I do not recommend this place at all. I love supporting small locally owned businesses and if they work on their recipes I will give it another chance.
