They offer a decent lunch special with a main entree plus, fried rice, chow mein, spring rolls and soup (soup dine in only). Fried rice and chow mein leave some to be desired. Packing flavor but served hot. The salt and pepper fish was very good. Fresh not over cooked. Hot n sour soup was okay.

Love this place. The food is always quick to the table. And very tasty. Today I had the ginger and scallion beef. I had my lunch in less than 5 minutes. Always good service.

We are out of towners and needed a place to dine for dinner. We decided to take my kids here for dinner because they offered dinner combination plates. Best choice we made! It wasn’t busy so we were seated right away. The staff was polite. We got our food quick. Food was DELICIOUS! My son even suggested we leave a good review. Food quality was exceptional & quantity was more than adequate for the price. We left satisfied and hope we will have another opportunity to return here again.

I ordered string bean chicken with a coconut boba smoothie. The chicken was tender and the sauce was delicious. Smoothie had great coconut flavor and boba pearls were soft. I even asked for a side of chili pepper which they gladly provided. Small restaurant but overall it was great. I recommend you come here and try it out for yourself.

I walked in 4 minutes before closing and they were super sweet and still took my order. It wasn’t rushed and my food still tasted fresh as if they just opened. I think they are my new natomas favorite! My 3rd time and never a complaint!! Try the Thai tea coffee!! Ohhh so good!

Great food and excellent service. It’s my first time at “Good friends” and i had a fantastic time. If anyone who love Chinese food or just want to try out different Asian food this is the place to go. The food are very good. The rice plates comes in big size and are very cheap. The sushi rolls are super good too. The workers and waitress are very nice and friendly. This place is a must try.

We loved GF before it sold. The new owners, I feel, are inexperienced owners. We’ve been in several times; their young daughter and even younger son waited/served us. The daughter does not write anything down and forgets to bring the order items – they are too young and untrained to serve customers in that capacity. The food is hit-and-miss, unlike the previous owners, who always hit a home run. We’ve stopped going to GF now; it’s just not a good dining experience any longer.

Went here for lunch today. It’s the first time since COVID. The chow-mien was not my favorite. It barely had anything in it other then noodles and a few onions.both the rice and chow-mien could have been warmer. The cashew shrimp and egg roll were the best. Both were hot off the grill.
