Cozy family-run restaurant with food ranging from excellent to okay. Our party ordered sushi (excellent), tonkatsu (very good but somewhat undercooked), tempura (very good), and spicy chicken (not that great). The prices were decent and the service solid.

Disappointing after reading the reviews, we were excited to go here. Don’t order a roll with shrimp tempura in it, they only put one shrimp in the roll so you only get shrimp in the first two slices of the roll, the other six have none. Pointed this out to the manager/owner and she said that’s how it supposed to be. Been to a lot of sushi restaurants in my time and have never seen that. Given the price, it was not worth it, will choose somewhere else next time we do sushi.

What a charming and “CLEAN” Japanese restaurant in Santa Barbara! Goleta Sushi House is a nice place to meet with friends on Friday Dinner. The staff is responsible and professional. The food looks and tastes delicious. It was a pleasure dinning at this location.

My husband and I were visiting Santa Barbara last weekend and found this restaurant on Yelp. It is a quaint restaurant with some tables outside that were occupied. Our server who I think is the owner was very friendly. The service was fast and we enjoyed our sushi. We’ll definitely come back when we are in town.

I’m surprised to find delicious, authentic, and affordable sushi in Goleta. The salmon sashimi we ordered was fresh, buttery, and delicious. The tofu agedashi was excellent. All the sushi rolls we ordered were also amazing. I believe the restaurant is owned by the attentive Japanese lady who served us. I will definitely be back again!
